    A Fellow Brother In Search.

Greeting fellow Christians. May the Lord Bless you in all your endeavors.

I am just a humble man with Christian beliefs. However, it is sad to say that I am not dedicated to any specific group in particular due to the fact of hypocrisy and the blind eye they turn amongst themselves.

Now, humbly I come to your little online community to seek knowledge and to be educated in your points of view as a collective. I come here not to debate, but to find answers.
I do apologize for not actually having questions at the current moment (I just worked a 16 hour shift and also work in the law enforcement field) but I'm sure questions will arise in the near future.

Also, I am seeking help for I am concerned for my Salvation.
I can honestly say that I am not a perfect person. Before my law enforcement career, I guess I could be classified as a "Dirty" individual. I have done some foul deeds, however, after re-evaluating myself and my lifestyle, I am fully on board to repent and change my ways.

One question I do have for now is where do I start this new life changing process?

Thank you all for now. I hope and pray that you will all help me with my journey. And my God Bless you all.

    Pray For Me,
    ObservationOnly.

P.S. Please forgive me for for my poor grammar and punctuation. As stated before, I'm feeling very tired.

Welcome to God's favorite forum. Please tell us about yourself. How old are you? What church do you attend? How many children do you have? What's your wife's best pie?

We are always interested in the testimony of how others came to Christ.

If you are interested in learning about Landover Baptist Church, a good place to start is HERE.

^^^ Thank you brother. I found that link quite interesting and very informative.

I've also gone around to other areas of the forum and find everyone quite welcoming. Especially new members.

I think I'm going to like it here.

          Oh, Sorry.

Well. I'm 28 years old. I don't attend any specific church. No kids. I'm not really much of a pie eater. Lol.

I've always been intrigued with Christ, however, I do not know the proper way to worship Him. That's why I feel lost at times.

Thank you for the link. I will make sure I read through it thoroughly.

If you are referring to literal pie, yes, I don't eat much of it. My family line is very prone to getting diabetes. And I am a very health conscience person.

I suppose that's understandable, does your wife make good food for you? Not tofu or anything like that, but real, wholesome food?

Welcome son. As an officer of the law, I know you are diet conscious. God has shown us that food that tastes good is good for you. They go hand in hand. Pie, fried foods, bacon all make a body happy. A proper diet will prevent the Diabetes Devil from entering your feet (though keeping your shoes on at all times is a good idea too).
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Unfortunately I am unmarried. I have yet to find a Christian wife.
I find tofu rather disgusting. It's merely just gelatinous Styrofoam.
Yes, I like all foods. But I consume them in moderation.

Re: A Fellow Brother In Search.

As of yesterday I just found out that I have a child with a former lover from 3 years ago.
The mother of my child may be one of the worst sinners I have met in my entire life. Being in law enforcement, I have seen countless times the worst of humanity. But she surpasses them all.
However, I don't want to to see this child fall under the pressures of the devil and live a valued and wholesome Christian life.
I will try my best to gain custody of my son and keep him completely away from this harlot who sins with every breath taken.

Wish me luck and pray for me.

                          Being in law enforcement . . .

Might you expect a little extra leeway in dealing with this hoor from your local constabulary ??

Anything from just looking the other way at the right time, to perhaps a little training in how some forensics might be compromised ???

Just exploring all the options here.
Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are unGodly among them of all their unGodly deeds which they have unGodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which unGodly sinners have spoken against him.
