    God knows everything, right?

    That means that He knows the people who live in the mountains of Tibet. He knows if they'd be converted if they heard about Jesus or not. He knew before they were born . . . in fact, before He created their souls!

    Since He knows they wouldn't, that's why He sent those souls to be born in the mountains of Tibet. The ones who could be converted, like you, were born in places where they could have Internet access.

          Please notice that Rock4 has 7 posts in this forum. Don't worry about him.

          The Pastors (like Pastor Ezekiel) and True Christians are trying to help you learn about Jesus. Rock4 is still under investigation himself.

            Okay Miss April, glad to see we've come to terms. So what I most want to know is what makes you believe? What makes you wake up in the morning and pray?

              You must have patience, dear boy, in order to study and understand the Good Lord's words. And yes, the Tibetan would be hell bound from his / her own fault. God is EVERYWHERE, even in the mountains of Tibet. Ignoring God would result in going to hell.

              And there is no apology needed from Miss April. She is so intense about helping people get on the right path that she can't think about anything else. One certainly can't condemn her for having such wonderful faith.

              And maybe this will help you understand a bit:

              17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
              17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
              17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
              17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
              17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
              17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
              17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
              17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
              Recognition, sorrow, confession, forgiveness, restitution, forsaking the sin.
              The Lord forgives me of my sin.

                Re: Why?

                I never said I wanted or expected an apology from Miss April, and to answer your question there was no one thing that made me a non-beliver. It was just observations I made over time.

                  But surely Calvin the process of observations that turned you into a non- believer can be reveresed. You can be turned back toward The Lord.

                    Re: Why?

                    Friend, what are you going to do if you are wrong? I am not trying to frighten you (though it does frighten me) rather I am trying to see what was so so convincing to go against Him.
                    Did you have a bad experience at the hands of a priest (often the case) or was a prayer unanswered as a small child (the second leading reason, every kid wanted a Playboy bunny of their own, few ever got one).
                    Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
                    Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
                    Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
                    Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
                    Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
                    Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

                          Calvin, maybe you should read THIS book, written from a True Christian(tm) perspective. I hope and pray that it will help heal your pain and allow Jesus to wash you clean with His blood.

                            When I was 19, I watched my Grandfather suffer as cancer ate away at his frail body. I was closer to him than I was to my own Father. I couldn't understand for a long time why God let good people suffer but then I realized later in life that God tests us to see how much we are willing to go through to keep us believing in him. Fair? No, but there is always a reason for everything that God does, even if we don't understand that reason. But when the Lord took my Grandfather from me, he allowed me to keep him near in my heart and my mind every single day. So you see, dear boy, your Grandfather can and is with you still.

                                That was beautiful! Isn't it unfortunate that we each have our cross to bear? But it's pretty good too, because it's easy to believe and show it by being nice to others, but you really show it during your hardest times.
