  • Hello

Hi, Im Jackie, I live in a little town in east tennessee. I grew up in california. I just found Jesus a little over a year ago. And to be honest, it has been the greatest thing to happen in my life. I however joined our nations great military, as Marine. I have since come home, as a reservist to finish my education and to follow my calling as a drummer.

Drumming is a talent in which I believe God gave to me to lead people in worship.

I have been searching for a church to attend regularly, with a younger crowd that also share my thoughts on God. I love and respect my elders, however, I do believe that I need to communicate with my peers as we grow in Jesus

Hallelujah! You found Jesus. What Church do you go to?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

No I am not a homosexual, even if I did grow up in Califonia.

Also, I am not in the Drum Corps, I am in the Marine Corps. (I have an issue with Muslim people who think that we are the evil ones, and would like to bring them the pain that which they deserve for harming our great nation)

I have not found a single church that I attend. I have been to a few trying to find the right one. I grew up going to a Baptist church when I was younger, but I didnt understand the importance of Jesus as a young child. My family isnt a very Christian family. They are however supportive of my trying to find a place in what I believe to be true and holy.

Im sorry I forgot to put some of my favorite verses down. Mathew 24:35. Acts 2:17-21

You should gently reinforce your mother into a True Christian lifestyle with a Marine Core Beatdown! Your Father will burn in hell though.

              Re: Hello

My parents didnt raise me, my grandparents did. My mother couldnt care for me, and my father wanted nothing to do with me. So my mom gave custody of me to my grandparents when I was two.

She however remarried, to my step father (I believe my grandfather has the rights to me more so than my step father). I dont feel that it's best to hit my mother, or tell my step father to hit my mother, for fear of him hitting me. I havnt done anything, at least in my family's eys to deserve being hit, in a very long time. Thank Jesus.

To get to my point however. Im here, on this most Godly of forums to recieve guideance in the ways of Christ, Jesus, for I am new to him and his ways. I would be greatly appreciative of the help.

Get yourself a JKV 1611 Bible and read it till your eyes bleed. Pray until your knees are calloused like elephant skin. Tithe heavily. Get right with God, son.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Son, I hope you realize that impersonating a member of the U.S. Military is a serious federal offense, and that we at Landover Baptist Church are extremely patriotic. Unless you can verify your status, we are going to forward your information to the FBI and the DOF and have you prosecuted.

I'm not kidding. You have 24 hours.

Sorry Pastor, but I don't think impersonating someone over the internet is an offense. It only applies if you're using that impersonation inrl.

                          Welcome Jackie,

It's always nice to talk to a Leatherneck. I proudly served in 3rd Battalion 8th Marines for four hard charging, highly motivated years.

                          Semper fi,

                          Johnny

I think there's nothing on Earth quite so stimulating as the sight of a Marine in uniform. Thank you for serving God and our country, friend. I hope you managed to shoot a few towelheads in between your drumming duties.
