First stop get yourself a Bible KJV. Then read it through completely.

I did read a Bible a long time ago, I found it an interesting read, although somewhat conflicting ideas, however I have still not found god.

Was there some kind of "undertone" in there that I have missed? Would you recommend that I read it again? It was only a pocket Bible I read so it might have been a "cut down" version of it.

There is only one version Yeti Thor. The King James version, please get yourself a copy, read it again. Also one of the wonderful Pastors here will help you. All you need to do is ask.

Go to your local Baptist church and ask for a copy.
Then Repent to God. Ask his forgiveness and pray hard.
No the Pastors are not God, but they are as near as possible to be to God. They are wonderful men who persevere to save as many as they can.So like I said Pastor Zeke is especially helpful, and Rev. Jim will be extremely patient and helpful with you, believe me.

Would you mind if I made a suggestion ?.
This intro will not be treated in a good way. God is not to made a mockery of.
