    Introduction.

    Hey, what's going on?

My name is Blake I am 19 years old and live in Australia I am studying law and politics at University. I attended private educational institutions all throughout my childhood and teens; however, I want to know more about God.

I despise the life I have been living. I have had sex, experimented with alcohol and partied to extremes. I want change. How can I achieve the life God wants me to live?

Please do not attack me for my lifestyle choices. I have seen the error of my ways and wish to repent.

Welcome to God's favorite forum young Blake, and Praise Jesus that He has sent you here! Finding God at this moment may just have saved your miserable life.

Start off by reading thrugh our Church Doctrines HERE.

Are you one of the nice young men I met on our Mission to Austria last Summer?

Thank you for the link Pastor I shall read through them all.

Austria? I assume you mean Australia being as you've a picture of the Sydney Opera House there. No, I wasn't there. However, I am from Sydney.

I do have a question, I am not sure if it has been answered elsewhere I did search but found nothing.

I am very meticulous when it comes to appearance. I work-out to maintain a trim, fit, muscle filled body and take great time in my clothing and general appearance. Is this wrong?

I am also rather confused about something else. As a law student I often find myself interested in reading Terms of Service etc. Whilst reading the Landover Baptist Church TOS I found something rather interesting and controversial, right down the bottom.

Can anyone spread some light on this?

Lawyerspeak, put in by the joo lawyers. All that wording is needed to ensure religion is not persecuted.

Sort of like the tag you get when you buy a toaster telling you not to use while in the bathtub.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

No sir! It's not wrong at all to keep your body fit and trim. I myself swim 5 miles each and every day and have the rock-hard abs to prove it.

                Re: Introduction.

I have spent the last few hours reading various other threads on the forums; one I found particularly interesting was regarding how one can detect whether a person is homosexual and one member brought up the shaving of body hair.

Now being young I have no hair on my torso I do however have hair on my legs. Living, as I do, in Australia I am often at the beach and I take part in competitive rowing, swimming, diving, athletics (what American's refer to as 'track') and cycling (races). In the majority of these sports that I partake it is custom to shave your legs to increase the aerodynamics of the body and to ensure, if injury is sustained, that it can be healed as fast as possible.

My point is, I do not shave my legs for aesthetics, they are for practical, almost cultural, reasons, and I am defiantly not homosexual. What is the LBC's stance on this? Any advice would be appreciated.

Perhaps Zekala should shave your legs himself, just to make sure it's done in the appropriate manner.

If Zeke isn't able to make it down here in time (you strike me as the urgent sort), he could nominate a proxy from amongst those healthy strapping young mensch in picture above he could.

We can make a private, suitably appointed office available in Vaucluse to facilitate this exercise if you like.

Following the payment of the agreed upon fee, of course.

I am not entirely sure I understand why I require someone else to shave my legs, what is deemed the inappropriate manner?

As for those....ahem..."healthy strapping young mensch" why would they be any different at shaving my legs than I am? I have much the same appearance as them so I do not understand.

It's all part of the nubile young brotherhood of Christ. I hope you can join us in our Friday night young men's prayer circle sometime.

I am awaiting your private communication, friend. I'd like to get something straight between us, only in private.
