    Greetings to all!

Hello everyone! My name Is Robert Hutchins. I am a 29 year old man from the horrible state of New Jersey. I am a veterinary assistant.

I'm here to help you all in guiding the poor lost souls of the Usaved, and to find guidance myself. I was born a Catholic, but rebuked that disgusting title long ago. I have spent many years of my life guiding the lost, and attempting to mitigate the damage dealt by The Unsaved, whether it is quieting outspoken atheists or participating in rallies.

But I have been known to wander from my beliefs, and as a conservative, Republican Baptist, I feel that the brave men of Landover can help me to help others.

    Yours in Christ,

    Robert

Sorry your intro slipped through the cracks. You should have posted it here. The introduction forum

It's nice to meet you, Robert. What Church do you attend? What is your favorite Bible verse? How many Soldiers for Christ has your wife produced for you?

Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

I'm sorry I didn't post in the right forum, missed the subdirectory. Should I post it again, or limit the excess material in favor of more useful posts?

I worship the Lord at Jacobstown Baptist Church. My wife of 10 years has produces two children in the name of Jesus. Mary, age 7, already shows an intense faith and yearning to learn the Word of God.

Sadly, Matthew, my first born, was taken at 2 weeks of age due to complications with his breathing.

        Hi Robert,

I am glad that the Holy Spirit has led you here.

How did you find out about God's favorite forum? Also, are you involved at all in ministry at Jacobstown Baptist Church?

That's a very Godly mission statement your Church has!!

We believe that the Bible is the very words of God and therefore were inspired through Spirit controlled men and without error in their original writings. Both Old and New Testaments are inerrant, infallible, and the all-sufficient Word of God for all spiritual, physical and emotional needs. (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:19-20)

I love to fish! Both fresh and saltwater fishing are my favorite pasttimes. I also enjoy, naturally, reading my leatherbound and gifted (by my pastor,) KJV1611. I collect guns, my oldest and favorite being a Colt1911.

I was led here by an Unsaved. He said I would get along with you, sarcastically. I have the feeling he may have said more than he knew. Perhaps the Lord can work through heathens to guide others!

Indeed you might get along with us here, friend. Tell me your views on predestination vs. works. I want to hear some of your Christian philosophy.

I have a good feeling about you!

                Re: Greetings to all!

Predestination. Well, that's an interesting subject! My congregation believes, as do I, that there is some truth to both sides of the argument. I think that no man can be saved without devotion to the Lord. That being said, some men are born without the will to serve Jesus Christ. There are some that are simply born evil. Some are born evil but can rebuke their nature, such as the average Negro. And some are born Holy and loved, and will find Godly works more fulfilling and easier to accept and devote time to. Perversions of choice are, to me, the worst, but some Unsaved simply cannot be saved, the Devil is so embodied within them. These are a select few that the love of Jesus has not been found by, and they, even after the age of accountability, are repelled by it.

                And your beliefs, friend?

I'm a strong five point Calvinist.

I believe that works/righteousnesses are as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

                  Romans 5:1
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

                  Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

                  And so on.

                    Re: Greetings to all!

Wonderful quotation of scripture, brother! I'm writing those passages down, and will discuss them with my pastor! I think that they may have meant acts alone will not save you, but acts in accordance with Faith will. Regardless, I consider what you do on these forums Holy acts, guiding the Unsaved to salvation. Knowing that you are saved and selflessly acting in His name anyway is the sign of a true Christian. You go "above and beyond," as it were.
