I clearly said "as the supreme god".
The hindus, for example, worship that "brahman" as their "supreme god".. (ie arch-demon)
But would that make them monotheists?

My name is Alie and I love you! I'm an eclectic Pagan, but Egyptian deities have always had a very special place in my heart, but I also worship Greek and Roman deities (which might not make sense, since they are both pretty much the same, but whatever). You really do a very good job of embarassing yourself, you know. The Ancient Egyptians were polytheists and thus worshipped many deities, not just Ra. Maybe you should study those ancient religions a little bit more. Who was it that Cleopatra considered herself to be? Oh yeah, she fancied herself to be Isis incarnate.


That's right! And Isis went on to become the Virgin Mary of Catholicism, and Her Holy Son, Horus, became Jesus in the Christian religion.

And let's get a couple of things straight: All wiccans are pagans, even if all pagans may not necessarily be wiccans or witches or whatever; but in the eyes of the Lord there is simply no difference! How self-centered are you people? Religion is about God, the Supreme Being. Do you really think there's an array of numerous Gods, all equally worthwhile, that you can choose from as if you were in a supermarket? Isis is not real, and never has been, and you can "choose" her all you like, but there's still no point in praying to an imaginary God.

I am not racist. Last I checked, some of the people on this board still call African Americans "nigras". So why don't you attack them? That is more racist than I could ever be. I was only pointing out that to speak on the subject of intelligence, you need to be able to speak intelligently. I would have said that to anyone, no matter their race.

Hi! My name is Edana!

So i'm pagan, i know that puts me on the christian slaughter table, but i don't come here to agrue like some do. I just come here to dicuss things and put my views out there, though most may fall on deaf ears.

I used to be a Baptist, actually. But after being smothered by all that, i just found Paganism to be more fitting with me. - I saw there were some intellegent pagans on here and thought i'd join the ranks ^^

Just for the record, i worship the egyptian gods: Isis the mother goddess, and Ra the sun god. Also a few others, but Isis is my main girl <3

So anyway, now that i've given a good intro and put my neck on the chopping block, i hope to have a very educational stay here... as it were.
