  • Hello

    Hello All,

I'm Virginia, and it's really nice to be here. I was on the internet after school today, and I stumbled onto this wonderful site. I really think Jesus brought me here. I'm a devout Christian lady, and attend Sandy Springs Baptist church here in North Carolina. I'm a school teacher and I take care of my elderly father. He told me it was okay to visit here for a while since his dinner is already baking. My favorite Bible verse is John 5:35.

He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

    Thank you,

    Virginia

      Hi Viginia, Welcome!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

There are Baptist Churches and then are Baptist Churches. You didn't mention which bible they use in the one you attend.

We have many non-believers attempting to gain entrance into our Godly forums and I wouldn't want to confuse you with those trolls, so please send me a PM with a high resolution photo of you holding the bible used in your church.

The photo doesn't have to be elaborate, just something similar to you avatar. You sitting there with a view of your left side, the blond hair flowing over your shoulder, your simple black dress with the bible held in your lap. That should do it.

I will post your photo in my private collection on my personal bulletin board behind my computer so that I can quickly identify you when you post again and know you are not one of the Godless evil ones lurking here.

Welcome to God's favorite forum, miss. I'm wondering why a fine young Christian lady such as yourself hasn't been married off by now.

            What's your best pie?

              Re: Hello

Thanks for the warm welcome, y'all. Daddy had me set to marry when I was seventeen, but the boy just didn't find me attractive at all. He came from a good Christian family, but he ended up moving up north and becoming an artist. After that, Daddys health got worse due to his old age, and I've been caring for him. I'm glad Jesus sent me here because I won't have a man to look after me after he's gone. Pastor, everybody really likes my apple pie.

You know Virginia, nothing makes a man happier than fresh, hot pie. You seem to have your priorities straight and you appear to be from good stock. I am sure one of the young Christians here will be calling on you. You best give them a way to contact your daddy for permission. Has your family arranged for a proper chaperon?

Look, there was no picture of your 'big bang' nor will there be one of hers, so forget about it.

                      Hey,

I don't exactly recall storming in here waving my banner of virginity. Of course, I may be wrong and if so, please be sure to point this out to me. Also, the status of my virginity concerns Jesus, my father, the man Daddy chooses for me to marry, and myself. As far as my posting pictures, maybe you should use cold water during your twenty minute showers. Just a suggestion.

                      Please take care,

Good for you! So many girls just roll over when comments like that are made.
I think you might want to speak with Brother Larry Lee. He was just talking to me about looking for a strong willed young lady just today.

Why, thank you ever so much, Mr. Hutchins. I must say you're exactly right about Christian men loving their pie! I remember when I was a little girl, Daddy used to go crazy over Mommas pie. He always used to say the nicest things about her pie, usually on Sunday mornings. Hopefully, Daddy can find me a nice young man just like he used to be when he was young. Momma used to love cleaning all the fish Daddy caught! Well, Jesus will take care of me.
