  • Hello

Hello i am a 17 year old christian (Non-practicant) , who believes in science and i am in school and want to study in Computer Engineering.

I have stumbled upon this website by accident and have ALOT of questions about this website's way of thinking as i have live and believed in science all my life and continue to believe so, but also believe in god. I think it is reasonable to believe both.

What's wrong with your parents? Why haven't they taken you to Church?

If you believe in God (which is capitalized by the way), what do you base your belief on? Did you study the Bible or are you just making it up as you go?

Let me get this straight. You're a "Christian" who doesn't practice? Are you implying that being Christian is only something that you do on weekends?

Let me put it to you in words that you can hopefully understand. Airports wouldn't hire pilots who can't fly planes...This being said, Jesus wouldn't accept people into Heaven who don't practice. Do you catch my drift?

There is no such thing as believing in both. You either agree with what the Bible tells you or you believe in the the fairy-tale dinosaurs. It is unreasonable as science constantly says that Christianity is a false religion with the silly "Evolution Theory."
      Christians are sinless.

      Romans 5:14
Death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned.

      1 John 3:6
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not.

      1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

      1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not.

      3 John 11
He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

I don't think i understand here. If I want to believe in god I need to forget anything that contradicts the slightest bit the bible? I have done tests at school that have proven most of the physics rules that I have learned. And the "Evolution Theory" is still just a theory right (which is backed up by substantial proof, but not enough to confirm it).

There are just so many things that science can prove and still not change the message of the Bible, that is why i cannot understand why science needs to be thrown overboard.

Tough I guess this is why i am "Unsaved Thrash, under investigation" (Liked the pirate)

          Re: Hello

You really should just believe in God (with a big letter 'G' like the Pastor said) unless you want to go to Hell. The Devil will torment you and you will burn forever if you keep up with all of the so-called science stuff.

And unless you are building a bridge or going to the moon in a rocket, you don't need to know all the physics stuff either. And since God created the whole universe, he created physics too, right?

Evolution is a lie by the way.

            Yes, we're saying exactly that:

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Proverbs 1:7

...keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and the oppositions of science falsely so called.... 1 Timothy 6:20-21

I have done tests at school that have proven most of the physics rules that I have learned.
The "physics teachers" trick you with gimmicked experimental apparatuses. It's all stage magic. If you did the real experiments, you'd see that modern physics is a bunch of hogwash.

And the "Evolution Theory" is still just a theory right (which is backed up by substantial proof, but not enough to confirm it).
Evolution is a theory, but what is that substantial proof? There are billions of species on the planet, yet nobody has ever observed a new species evolve from another. Why do you think that is?

There are just so many things that science can prove and still not change the message of the Bible, that is why i cannot understand why science needs to be thrown overboard.
Look, the scientists are running a racket, and they're never going to admit that they're wrong, because if they do, they'll lose their oversized paychecks. We know that the Earth was created in six days around 6,000 years ago. We know that the creatures alive today were all alive back then, too. We know that the Earth is flat. The reason we know this is that we've got eyewitness testimony from the guy who created it all.

Yes, as reasonable as a fish growing legs and turning into a lizard.

Thats what "science so called" teaches pal, you really wanna fall for the biggest lie ever concocted to enslave and control mankind? You need to repent and start going to a Bible believing church where you might be saved.
