    Greetings!

I'm enjoying being alive in the spirit.

I originally found Jesus in the bathroom - someone had mistakenly placed the Gideon Bible from the nightstand to the back of the toilet. But from that moment on, I've enjoyed reading the matter falling from our Savior's lips. His name be praised!

I'm interested most in reading about homeschooling practices, especially those relating to the years after children graduate from high school.

Please help me find my way in Christ.

Hi, I'm new to this thread. There's quit a selection of interesting stuff here. Right now, a am pretty much agnostic. I don't know if I want to be saved. In addition, I feel guilty.....I mean if anyone wants to talk about it.

Only Jesus can save you from your guilty feelings and make you want to change your sinful homasexual ways.

              Hello and welcome
The glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory

                Re: Greetings!

                Thank you to you all.

To answer the questions I've received to date...

I'm 33. I and my wife Beatrice are members of the 1st Baptist Church of San Francisco in Omaha, Nebraska. We're a group of pilgrims from the sinful city that made our way back east toward the promised land.

I was a former practitioner of sin whom God tempted with homosexuality, but overcame it. Praise his name! My wife too was tempted, but we overcame it through his grace. And while we could have been duly tempted when God helped us overcome or deepest desires, to become overly come by the wrath of heterosexuality, we instead found ourselves only interested in movies and lunch. Praise Jesus!!

And now we are married, and have a lovely, beautiful daughter. Just the one.

Thank you all for your kind words - I hope I've finally found a safe island of Christ in this frightful online Gomorrah.

Philip, I find your story to be touching. I feel as if I know you already. Shout Glory!
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Alas, I fear my graduation predates my knowledge of Mrs. Betty Bowers fabulous programs. Perhaps, I will graduate from them another time.
