    Hello

    I went to a Mennonite Church during my teen years. I am currently looking for a Baptist church. I was approached by Mormon's and then studied their doctrine only to find that the Mormon church is not for me.

    I am a criminologist, and a writer. I also work in a personal and professional development seminar company.

    What I am doing here, well essentially wanting to know more about Jesus, and I find that the more information one has the better equipped they are. I personally think that Jesus will be coming to get us soon and that the more people that know him and ask for forgiveness and accept his beautiful gift of heaven, the better this world will be.

    I am not a confrontational individual so I am a bit leery of this site for the information I have read is people who are bored, provoking christians. I guess I am just used to welcome greetings and warm fuzzies. Maybe I am before the gun on this one, and I love to be proven wrong.

    They say you are either happy or right, rarely both (it does happen though.)

    I am not sure what else you would like to know, please ask me any questions if I missed anything.

      I am an anti-evolutionist and love that the KJV (the most accurate translation from the Isiah Scrolls) states in the beginning not "the first day," there are millions of first days, but only 1 beginning.

          Are you saying you don't believe in a seven-day creation? Genesis 1:1-5 all take place on the first day.

            It seems as long as I don't talk about wanting to have sex with a child, a woman (cause I am a woman and would be a homer or a lomer cause it is a lesbian thing...not sure) or talk about drugs, or talk about incest, or insult any of the pastors I think my stay might be beneficial.

            I have read several introductions and it seems to go south pretty quick oh yeah I am Canadian, but my father is a Major in the Us Airforce, so I am dual...so don't hold it against me for too long.

              I was not about to put the whole book up I believe in 7 day creation with a day of rest included.

                Don't worry, I'm Canadian too. The loving Christians here are not bigoted. Through Christ the greatest obstacles can be overcome. Praise!

                Tell me, where in Canada are you from? I'm in Nova Scotia myself.

                  I am a little appaulled I just read a forum that was stating that Rev Jim is hosting a seminar for young ladies to come to a hotel room and basically pound the "devil" out of her.

                  I don't think this site is for me, the more I am here the more it confirms the uneasy feeling. May god bless the lost souls that made it here, please delete me and don't talk to me anymore.

                  I feel a really bad feeling here and should have listened to it a long time ago.

                          She is up set because a Pastor is willing to help with the salvation of her soul,by whoopin the Devil out of her? Shoot Emil tanned my back side but good for getting snotty with one of the men members, not to say that I did not deserve it.
                          All I am saying is if a whoopin will help me find Jesus get a leather strap and have at me !

                            Interesting.This not so SilentSoul comes on, is immediately critical of things without first hand experiece. She gets a very warm greating and reads a little, mis-interperts something and gets an attitude. She is going to have a very hard time when she actually reads the Bible and realizes it is not all kittens and gumdrops. Life has its' up and downs. You cannot have your pudding unless you eat your meat.
