    just introducing myself

    Hello, My name is Deborah, I am a mother of 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. I have been married for 29 years to a wonderful, loving, godfearing man. I am a devout Christian and have been all of my life, I was raised in the church and have never swayed from it's beliefs. I am homebound and so I don't get to go out to church but my pastor comes by to see me regularly (he is a wonderful human being) and I read my bible daily. I come here to hear the views and opinions of other god-fearing christians.

      Welcome to God's favorite forum. May I assume that you have your husband's permission to be posting here?

      What Church are you affiliated with? Why is it that you can't go to church with your family every Sunday?

          My husband is the head of our household and supports my coming to this forum. He thought it would be a good and constructive use of my free time. We believe free time is time that should be spent learning and comming closer to our Heavenly Father.
          I am unable to attend regular church because of an injury (we were hit by a drunk driver while leaving our driveway, my husband injuries were minor, I sustained a back injury and a broken knee) my husband does go to church twice a week (we are Baptist) and relays via a recording the entire surmon to me each week. I still miss going but have been told that I should be well enough to move around soon.

                  Hello maam welcome to this forum, my names hank but my friends call me slug, i dunno why they do that but i guess thats fine by me. I'll pray for your injuries to be healed, never give up hope we serve a God of miracles and wonders.

                      Thank you for your prayers. They are greatly appreciated.
                      I spoke to my husband on the phone a moment ago and he suggested that I should have let him come on and introduce himself first. I am sorry it seems that in my fervor to become part of this community I overstepped myself. He will be posting when he returns from work.

                          What kinda work does your husband do? Does he go shooting? I liek going shooting. It makes me feel more better when I shoot an animal.

And by the way I make excellent pies, especially apple and pecan .

                                          Only 2 sons? Were the rest daughters? That must have been quite the trial, I know. Out of 8 children, my wife has only bestowed 3 sons on me. I love her anyway.
