Do I get an award for guessing your age? Your parents should be making you read you Bible! Do they know that you're online calling Jesus a Jew?

You get a gold star. That was my attempt at making a joke, I didn't lie about my age. Also wouldn't the first Christians be his disciples? Or would we conclude that Abraham was wrong all along and interpret Christianity as the only right religion since God himself was Jesus?

I'm now confused. Does this show they were following Jewdish rights or what? The Law of Moses was Jews back then? Or am I misreading this?

Jesus was demonstrating that he, as a man, was bound to the old laws so many wannabe Christians are uncomfortable observing and following.

I seem to remember Jesus being presented in the Temple for circumcision or something - or is that from a wrong version of the bible, like a catholic or mormon one?

I'll be able to check the KJV 1611 when it arrives. Until then can someone clarify that for me? He wouldn't have been circumcised for health reasons maybe, would he?

I'd hate to think he was innocently circumsized by some vigilante rabbi.

The Kingdom of God is a Place, but not here. It is a place that we will all get to after the battle of Armageddon, the battle on the field outside of Geddon. After that the world will be covered over by blackness and everyone will be judged. If you are not deemed worthy, you will suffer and eternal death, with no chance of resurrection. If you are deemed worthy to enter you will live forever. This is a paraphrased version of the message that Jesus tried to spread along with couple hundred other Jews in 1st century Jerusalem. The only difference between him and everybody else is that he preached a non-violent method. This is why nobody really liked his message because everybody was gearing up for a violent battle/over-throw of the Roman empire. Also, Nero used Christian's burning bodies as light for his garden parties.
