We like to keep to ourselves here. While we spend hundreds of thousands of dollars (possibly millions!) ministering to the world, traveling the globe and giving Bibles to the poor and starving, we do not usually have people coming to us for salvation.

Often sinners are happy (or at least believe they are) to be in the condition they're in, and when they come here it is to persecute us for being True Christians. (Which is actually a blessing to us, according to Matthew 5:10.)

What objective, testable evidence do you have that GOD does not exist? (And I mean the GOD of the Bible, the Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost.) Doesn't it strike you as anti-intellectual and foolish to make such a statement?

Can you prove He is not up in Heaven watching every move you make, carefully cataloging the contents of your heart to be weighed against you on Judgment day?

If I were you, I'd get on my knees and ask CHRIST into my heart right now! These are the end times!

Because I have no reason to, it's as simple as that. As I said, I was raised in a Christian household, but as I got older I realized what I was being taught didn't make sense to me.

I came here, ALSO as I said earlier, for simple conversation. I enjoy stimulating conversation with other educated people.

I never said He doesn't exist, I said I don't personally believe in him. To say He doesn't exist without evidence is very foolish, I never respute things without evidence proving my point.

Alright, you are going to get conversation, however, getting the agree to disagree isn't going to happen. There are a lot of people here who are well educated, and very religious, such as I. I welcome you, but, I do have to state that, I believe you are wrong, and that not believing in our Lord Jesus Christ will send you to an forever in hell. Saying that, this is NOT a debate forum, but a forum that is dedicated to praising Our Father in Heaven and His Son.

I wasn't Christian, because to be one, one must accept Jesus. My parents chose to accept Him for me, I never did myself, thus why I said I was raised in a Christian household, instead of raised a Christian.

I have, in fact, read the Bible, as I said, I was raised in a Christian household. That included going to church, Sunday school, and youth group. The reasonings in the Bible just don't make sense to me.

Being as you are 18, and are in the same age group as I, I can understand your stance. I was once in your position, but I also realized that the Bible does make sense, if you really begin to read it. It is very straight forward. Life isn't quite as straight forward and as easy to follow as the Bible is. I find peace and joy in knowing that Christ is on my side as my Savior and that I have a Father that cares for me. I suggest that that you buy yourself a KJV 1611 Bible and read it, maybe you can find what didn't make sense to you, and find Jesus and let him help you in your walk, espcially the walk to Heaven.

It must've not been a KJV 1611 Bible. Those liberal NIV Bibles can corrupt any Christians thinking.

Frankly, I don't remember what version it was, but it was most likely the NIV, as it was not a Baptist church we went to, I think it was non-denominational.
