I'm a college student, who found God at the age of 10. I didn't really understand what God's love was until I was about 16 years old. I currently am attending Parkway Baptist in Washington. I love God with all of my heart and am trying my best to follow after Him.

Re: Hi
Welcome to God's favorite forum, son. It's great to see a new Christian posting here. I hope you'll find a way to overlook the Godmockers who invade our forum from time to time. They can be nasty and hateful.

Re: Hi
I am 19 and my favorite Bible passage is
Ephesians 5:19-20 (King James Version)
19Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
The reason it is my favorite passage is because it reminds me to always be thankful for what He has given me.

Re: Hi
Hi. I like your name, but I do hope when you say the Bible rocks, you mean rock as in Rock of Ages and not rock as in Devil-inspired rock and roll music.Originally posted by thebiblerocks View PostI'm a college student, who found God at the age of 10. There are only three ways I know of to experience God's love. Read the Bible, listen to the sermons of the Landover pastors, and feel it in your heart. I'm glad you found your own way, whatever is was, to God's love, though I highly recommend listening to our pastors and reading the Bible always. Whell, there's a fourth, die and experience it directly, but I'd recommend waiting for the Lord to call you back before you try that one.
Remember, as an Evangelical, you will be constantly surrounded by persecutors and attackers, from liberal Chrisitans to athiests to New Age types (who are admittedly fun to provoke). God does not love everyone equally, and does not want everyone to be saved, so you should be greatful that His blessings have landed upon you and brought you here to us, God's Favorite Church.™.
You will find a warm welcome awaiting you here among the True Christians(R) and Pastors at LBC.The Christian Right: The Only Right Way to Be a Christian!

Re: Hi
Praise Jesus, friend! I feel as if I already know you through the Holy Spirit!Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Re: Hi
When I say the Bible rocks, I mean as in it is firm and never changing. No one can ever change it, while they may twist it, no matter what it is unchanging.
