    Hi, came looking for help

After some devastating losses recently I was looking for help, as I have found my belief in God wavering. I can't stop myself blaming Him for the death of my mum 3 and a half months ago, by a car crash. She was a wonderful woman, had an everloving heart and caring nature. Her car "aquaplaned" and crashed into a tree, the only one for like 20 meters either way.
Now I can't bring myself to go to Church on Sundays, because I feel like I would be betraying God if I did, as I'm not sure what to think of Him anymore.
I don't want to lose my faith, but I feel like I'm slipping away. I just can't understand why he would take my mum away from me.

Re: Hi, came looking for help

Welcome, troubledheart, share your pain with us so we can lighten the burden. Ignore this 'bluegrace' person, they are a rabble rouser. Anyways, how can grace be blue?

Tell us about the crash and how you killed your mother. Was she in the road when you hit her?
You do need to go to Church and repent at the feet of Jesus.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I didn't kill her, I wasn't even there at the time. I'm not even allow to drive
She was driving back from the market. It was raining really heavily and there was a lot of water on the road. The car lost traction with the road they said, hit a large tree on the side of the road and was dead before anyone got to her.

Would God be angry at me if I went to Church while still questioning my faith though, Sir?

Ah, I follow you now, sorry for the mis-understanding. Some other trouble makers have upset me and my concentration was elsewhere.

God wants you in Church. Question your faith if you must, but direct your questions to Him. He does everything for a good reason. Some people win the lottery, others die senseless deaths. All good things happen. Think for a minute about the past before you were born, perhaps during the Spanish Inquisition. Many died, many more were Saved©. Those people who were Saved©, continued to breed billions of children. You are the child and the end product. Had the Spanish Inquisition never occurred, you and I would not be talking right now. Your mothers gruesome death will most likely allow a boy to be born who will become a renowned preacher. You do not want your selfish desires to nuzzle the bosom of your mother to prevent the Saving© of thousands, do you?

But, Sir, I have been asking the Lord about hese things for a while now, and He has given me no response. Has God turned away from me?

You do, however make a very good point about the death of my mother. Thank you for that.

How do you know He has not responded. It can be as little as the wings of a butterfly brushing against your eyelid or as massive as Tsunami. You know (forgive the sound of the cliché) but He works in mysterious ways. The sign he gives may not be obvious to you. Do you think the rack was understood by those fortunate to be laying on it? Do you think they knew they were being drawn and quartered just so you could be born?

Do not question Him. He knows all, Sees all. Go to Church, repent your sins, beg on your knees for His forgiveness, not moving until it is granted.

I shall do so, thank you for your advice, I'm feeling better already.
I suppose I better give an actual introduction really shouldn't I? But I don't know what to say. What would you want to know about me?

Well, I can deduce you are a brit. I assume you are female as a mna would be tougher and understand the big picture.

                What church do you attend?

Is your Bible bound in tight leather?

                  Beaumaris Baptist Church, in Victoria

"In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the satisfaction for our sins."

                  ~John 4:19~

I am not allowed to have ownership of my own bible, as my husband will not allow it until I have provided him with a son. He says that I must provide him a son so that he can be certain of my loyalty to him and, in turn, my loyalty to God.
My husband's, however is bound in tight leather

                  My husbands loves it

                      I am not British.
And no, aquaplanning is where the tyres of a car lose traction with the road, meaning the driver has no control over the car

This whole site is under investigation. They work for the Devil. Just look at their pictures and what they say. They are a dying breed. Mainly ex war vets. and ignorant hillbillies. They are a joke and they know it! It’s like trying to carry on a conversation with a ten year old.

Real churches don’t even recognize this church. In fact they are trying to get it shut down. It won’t be long.
