    Re: Greetings

Why have you chosen such a screen name?

Are you a Baptist (I sure hope so)?

What Church do you attend, what is the pastors name?

What are your favorite Bilbe passages?

    Where do you live?

Why a law firm? You know how God feels about lawyers.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Hello friend, welcome to our forums.

I am startled by your user name though. You are above reproach? That sounds EXTREMELY prideful...

Above Reproach? That is a very bold statement sir.

We have had many of the unsaved that feel they are above reproach visit this Holy Board. Many are attracted here just because it's Jesus' favorite Forum(tm).

What usually happens is they feel they are above reproach, then they start participating and gain reputation points and making friends. But their focus is wrong. It becomes a game with them...

All they want is to try to "schmooze" everyone into gaining reputation points on the board without truly being a Saved individual that realizes that the focus here is God! Glory!

Eventually they become transparent and the true color of their soul is shown to everyone.

So, after you remove the "above rep" and the points associated with it -

...you are left with a "roach".

I agree! As it says in God's Word, Proverbs 16:18-19.

18Pride [goeth] before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
19Better [it is to be] of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
            Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
