    Infractions

So what's the deal with the infractions. Do you people power hungry or do you think you are actually accomplishing something with them? I'm being serious here, what is the purpose of them. If you want to tell someone they have said something you don't believe in then just message them or kick them off of the board.

Seriously though, I got an infraction for posting "Thanks a lot!" in response to a nice guy helping me out with my avatar and i got an infraction for being "boring and witless".

This is ridiculous. Power hungry much?

    Re: Infractions

You obviously were not properly disciplined by your father and have serious problems with respect for authority.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

      Re: Infractions

There's something I have learned about this place. The quickest way to watch infractions pile up is to complain about them.

      Hebrews 12:7-8
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children [bastards] and not true sons.
Proverbs 25:21-22 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

        Re: Infractions

I am not in the least bit surprised about the infraction. Actually, I am surprised you are not banned yet though I suspect the Pastors and Reverends are being old softies these Glorious Holidays. I personally, tighten up a bit this time of year as punks like you think you can get away with things. I see your type at Wal*Mart all the time.

You come her to mock God and all that is good in the world, all because you are (glaringly obvious too)sexually confused.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Maybe if you had less infractions then your complaints would be further up on the priorities list.

We should be flattered that the Pastors and Male Elders of the Church care enough about our spiritual salvation to correct what needs correcting.

Don't you know it hurts them deeply to hand out infractions?

It would do good for all of us to spend time reflecting on the cause of an infraction (either our own or another's), and prayer for its removal, rather than on the technicality of the infraction itself.

              God(tm) bless.

If anything you should be happy that you've been given infractions. Knowing where you're screwing up is the best way to know where you need help. Take them as a blessing and learn from the mistakes you're making as we point them out. Maybe then you'll end up on the right path to finding True Salvation© through our Lord Jesus Christ.

                    Oh HELLO, precious Petal ! ! !

How ARE you?? Are the new meds working out? You know, if you fill up your weekly pill box (I mean the ones with the Mon-Tues-Wed etc. compartments) each weekend and store it at eye level in the fridge, you'll see it every morning when you open the door for orange juice or whatever, and that way you'll be reminded and never miss a dose.

So happy to hear from you : ) I'm sure all your infractions have dried up and blown away by now, and you're just as fresh and clean as the day you were born.

It's just our way of helping you. Imagine if you were outside in your yard building something and Jesus himself came down and appeared to you and said, "No brother, you are doing it wrong. Here, let me show you how to do it properly!" Glory! How happy would that make you!?!?

                      Infractions are Glorious!

I hear those words of the Almighty, Brother Dint. I treasure every infraction I have as a reminder to stay on the straight and narrow path to Jesus.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Lord knows I have made my share of mistakes. I now have a new way, a strait and narrow path leading to the Lord..
"And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth His glory; and His disciples believed on Him" (John 2:10-11 KJV)

                              Re: Infractions

I, for one, am here to learn and humbly ask for direction. I am reminded of one of my favorite Psalms and hope it seems as appropriate to others as it does to me to offer in this context...

Psalm 19 (1611 King James Version)
1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
