God didn't Whack Job, and neither should we.

God allowed all kinds of interesting things to happen to Job, but He never whacked him.

Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Lets read some more about Job, shall we (and the potential for whackery).

7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

So you see, God never whacked Job, nor did he allow satan to whack him either.

He did allow satan to kill pretty much Job's entire family.

Well, I haven't been contacted yet. This is all I had to stay. Look I know I haven't been the best since I got here. Even as a new person, my character wasn't admirable. Please forgive me and allow me to stay despite some of the things I say or do. I really am trying. Thank you.

Trying to do what? Be an enormous pain in the ass? I'm no xtian, yet if I belonged to this church I know I wouldn't welcome in an irritating little boy who simply threw rocks at the church windows and members every single time he got close to the church.
