    Hello

    Hi!

I'm just saying hi, just to let everyone know that I exist.

I'm from Sweden and I was raised in an atheist home, but I was let to choose what I should believe in. I became a lutheran.

When I moved to the United States (I studied a year in Boston) I met a girl who introduced me to the Baptist Church, and I inmidiatly felt that it was the religion for me.

And there's are where you have me today.

I will move to USA in a couple of months to marry the girl that introduced me to this church.

    /Lukas

Unfortunaly I can't quote from the english version, and my swedish wouldn't make any sense here.

Oh and by the way. I pressed wrong when i registerd. I was born 1979, not 1989! (If someone could change that)

Welcome to God's favorite church. I hope you aren't just using this pure American girl to get a Green Card.

                Re: Hello

Of course I'm to old to be a student. I'm 30! I graduated when I was 25. Me and my fiancee moved to Sweden, but she wanted to raise our family in USA so we decided to move back.

I do own a KJV 1611, but I have trouble reading it (language again).
But my swedish bible is Helge Åkesons Bibelöversättning 1911.
This means Helge Åkesons Bibletranslation from 1911.

Helge Åkeson was a Baptist who translated the Bible word for word from the greek basic text (I don't know what it's called in english).

I'm sorry. My I think something gets lost in translation. I can see that this sound very weird.

Anyhow it is the bible the Baptists in Sweden use.
