    Touch of the big A.

I was advised to formally introduce myself, and thus I shall.

I'm an atheist that believes everything can be explained in a metaphysical, a true scientific way.
This also leads the personal conclusion that no existing religion is near being right about the essence of the universe. This is also logical, because if there is an existing theology/truth it would be too difficult, too complex to understand and fully grasp it; this creates "dumbified" and magical versions of a possible truth, namely religions: either Monotheism or Polytheism (or spiritual).

Yet, like most atheists, I live a normal life: I help out where possible, try to make a person's day and even reply to my grandmother's emails.

I came to this forum to get a better understanding of the Christian fundamentalism and extremism, which is very present here.

May you make your own day,
Arbitratus Dominatus (the power of the Will)

A repellent atheistic demon posts here yet again . . .

    tsk, tsk.

Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are unGodly among them of all their unGodly deeds which they have unGodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which unGodly sinners have spoken against him.

You are about the umpteenth atheist I have seen who has come here to "learn about Christianity" If you wanna do that then just read the threads, no need for your hate speech which you will no doubt plague us with in the future.

If you're so confident, employ a little patience and wait. You think we're all intent on crusading through your forums attacking your beliefs, but some of us are just legitimately curious. By all means, if we start spouting hate speech, feel free to call us out on it.

The thread title should read: Touch of the big D.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Forgive me for sounding critical, but I almost wish the atheists, etc. who came here to "learn" would just read, and not post. It is most uncomfortable to know one is being constantly "watched" and studied.

As to learning about Christians and Christianity, the requirements for this mantle are all laid out in The Bible(tm). There have been many translations as of late, and the most accurate is the original King James Version.

I would suggest getting a copy for yourself. Not only will you understand the True Christian(tm) faith, but it just may be a good influence on you yourself.

Atheists searching for faith. Oxymoron I do believe. In the view of these humble old eyes, it takes more faith to not believe. Have a look around your world won't you? Tell me this wonderful creation happened by chance. I dare you to do it.

What a slip of the tongue! That should read of course "oxy moron" not "oxy mormon." But maybe oxy mormon is an accurate way to describe it as well... what is this called? A Freudian slip I believe? Ah ha, so maybe it was providential! But then again, the worldviews of this Freudian fellow were quite taken with pagan and liberal wanderings of the human mind. I don't know if I like having something I wrote related to him. Nevertheless.

Excuse me here, I'm rambling to myself.

AH HA! It must be some sort of clever auto-correct! How exquisite!

I have not! I am new to Internet forums and I must confess, I did not know this was polite. How embarrassed am I...
