Is it at all possible that you might share a few more details of yourself?

What Church do you attend? What is your favorite Bible verse? How old are you?
Tell us your testimony of Jesus. How is that for starters?

That is great for starters, but I'm afraid the answers to those are not of the best. I do not attend church, I do not have a favorite scripture, for I have not read the Bible. I am 21 years old, and am going through a divorce, so I am now a single mother of two little girls. I feel like I have no sense of direction, and no meaning or purpose in life.

Well young lady, you must accept Jesus into your heart. You must be baptized.
You must dedicate you life to the Glory of Jesus, Read the KJV 1611 Bible and live the word of God. If you do not do it for your self, do it for your children. Give them a good Christian home to live in.

What did you do to make your husband leave ?

I'm not sure this will get me on your good side, but I left him, he did not leave me. He was terribly addicted to drugs, and we had some problems with that. Long story short, I had my daughter almost die in my arms. We are still friends, and on somewhat god terms, but a marriage together is not good for him, me, or our children. As for accepting God, I am still unsure what to believe. I have always been the type that that only believes something if it is logical and has a scientific explanation. And let me sincerely thank you for taking your time to help direct me, and help me choose the Right way.

Read the Bible. That will tell you exactly what to believe.
I have always been the type that that only believes something if it is logical and has a scientific explanation.
Well, that's a bit silly. You'll have to give all that up and become as a little child if you want to get right with Jesus.
And let me sincerely thank you for taking your time to help direct me, and help me choose the Right way.
Praise! If you want to be told exactly what to believe, you've come to the right place, friend. Praise the Lord!
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

You are not making any sense woman.

You left a husband that obviously needed your help and support. Your daughter almost died in your arms and that somehow made you leave your husband?

You decided that your husband is not good enough for you or your children anymore yet for some reason he is now just your friend?

You are most confused and confusing.

Can you reiterate all of this for us?

I am shocked and appalled you abandoned your husband just so you could go off and do what ever it is that you harlots do. Marriage is a Holy commitment. Tell me, what have you done with all the children? Sold them off the to the korean slants?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

                      Re: what now?

Please do not judge me until you have been in my shoes. Not that it's your business, but my children's father got in trouble with the law for his drug abuse. The state got involved, and I had a choice to either leave him, or have the state take my children away and place them in states custody. I have my children living with me, and they are very happy and well taken care of. I did not abandon him in his time of need either. He made the choice to either get help for his drug addiction, or lose our children. He made the latter decision. I came here for help and guidance, not to have people tell me I am a harlot because of the incidences that have happened in my life.

Did you not make the foolish independent decision to leave your husband and deny him his offspring? A woman belongs with her husband, not out on her own trying to make independent decisions and fend for herself. I can't imagine the shame you have brought upon this man.

My dear, you are woman and your shoes would never fit me. Therefore, no opinion may be rendered on any relating to them.

Having been though what you claim, I have to wonder about you decision making ability. I assume your husband was not on drugs until he married you. I then have to wonder what you did to cause him to prefer drugs over marital bliss.
