However the same can be said about the Landover Babtist Church and I assume you take that very serious.

Explain to me how I am not making sense? Explain how I did not take you seriously. A lot of people have hemorrhoids and believe me, I take that serious too even though I am not one of them.

Sure. Just like the Bible it is hard to summarize, so is Pastafarianism. But I can mention some important aspects here. An important one is believing in the LIGHT of the universe. It is a positive optimistic aproach to the universe and to the human race being one if its inhabitants. None of the negative parts religions believing in Hell have. I am not saying humans or the universe do not have bad sides, but I do think in the end the good and the positive will always prevail. I want to believe this and so I do. Another way of looking at all this is that I believe in a God who has a sense of humor.

Do you think Jesus is a joke? (on a Christian forum?) I hope not. (yet you attempt to ridicule Him) Why do you assume other religions are a joke? (setting me up for the argument that goes: "You are atheist too because you don't believe in 4999 deities in human history and I don't believe in 5000)

Pastafarianism was created as an argument against teaching Creationism in schools. Basically, they are atheists pretending to be religious. I can see how it can work there when the school boards have to treat all religions equally.

But that whole battle is completely irrelevant for us. We already decided a long time ago that our children should be homeschooled. I teach my own children just like my parents taught me and their parents taught them. And so on.

Believe me, the teaching of evilution is the least of my worries. I have recently watched a documentary about life in public schools called Girls Gone Wild. It is not an environment I want my daughter to be in.

Really, attempting to keep evilution out of an already corrupted environment serves no logical purpose. It is like trying to enforce an alcohol ban in a brothel.
