Oh ok, that's good to know! I noticed a lot of very "unchristian" attitudes and comments on the forum. Extremely rude and although I do not agree with their views am open minded enough for them to have their views, just wish they'd keep them to themselves!

I'm still at school which is why I am unwed. England is a much smaller country than the US and there are not nearly as many good christian men! Do you believe age matters when it comes to a husband? obviously I don't really have a view on it as it doesn't matter was just wondering about your opinion.

Don't worry about it , Pepper. We all go through it because so many atheist trolls try to corrupt our TrueChristian™ forum. Therefore, the Pastors of Landover Baptist have to screen all new people. You are doing fine, but I agree with the others that 18 is quite old for a woman to be unwed. OIf course, this is the prime responsibility for your father and pastor.

Incidentally, I liked you choice of Bible verse. It is a favorite of mine as well.

No I went to a Baptist school where my Grandmother, Mother and one of my Aunts worked, which is what I wish to do. I would wish for them to grow up among children who also have the same faith.

For that there is Church: Ephesians 1:22-23 "And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all."

Yes. As I already mentioned, God demands it: Ephesians 6:4 "And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord."

I wish to be a mother and a wife (sounds pretty old fashioned but it's all I've ever wanted) and maybe part time teach primary school children (primary school is ages 3-9) how about you? Where abouts in America are you from?

I am from the Mid West but I really like Cranky Old Man's location. I hope to be able to say I'm from there too one day
I think it's great you want to be a wife and mother! Many woman any more don't seem to understand that that is what God wants of them. However, why a primary school teacher? Don't you think it may be more important for you to first find a husband and then add to God's army? On the same idea, shouldn't you also focus on being a good wife instead of wasting time away from home? I mean, if you love children so much, I'm sure your husband would not reject the idea of having nine or ten.
Also, you said you're 18. It is acceptable for a man not to be married but if you are not careful, you may end up as a spinster
I think maybe you should do what I have been doing, pray to God to help in finding your future mate. I'm sure He will provide.

He would of course have to meet anyone before I was courted but I am allowed to choose who I date as long as I have my blessings.

Cannot your Pastor provide your father with a good husband? I don't understand why you should play any role in selecting a decent husband for yourself. God is very specific about who you are allowed to have as a husband: 2 Corinthians 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?".

Are you all pastors? or do you have other jobs?

I myself am retired and I have never been a Pastor. I still do things to support Jesus though, like contributing to Project Habakku.
