    Hello from England

Hello to you all, please let me introduce myself.

I have been most ungodly having left my wife for a far younger jezebel who then dumped me for my duplicity. I am trying to learn my lesson and although my path to salvation has been hard and recently derailed by what I thought were the kindly ministrations of a burlesque dancer and her friend in the back of the local co-op I really am trying to find the light.

I am aware that my behaviour was an abomination in the eyes of the lord so I took up the offer of a friend to leave darkness and attend a so called temple. So I went along and was asked to kiss the bible, which I think was the right version but I'm a bit unclear what the blind fold and rope around my neck were all about. The sharp things they stuck in my chest were a bit disconserting too but apparantly that was to prove that Im not a woman because they are not allowed to see the light.

So having followed this forum in the hope of redemption I hope I am on the right track. I'm a bit worried though because I was told if I told anyone they would rip my lungs out and put them like wings behind my back and bury me between the high and low tides.

Please don't write me off as unsaved trash, I really want to get things right for when I die and just because my wife does not understand that she is not the only furrow where my seed may scatter surely that does not make me a bad person in the eyes of the lord.

    Hi friend.

Tell us all about how you came to be Saved(c).
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

      Re: Hello from England

Well thats part of the problem, I'm not sure if I have been saved. I'm trying to find salvation but as you can see I'm not sure I'm going the right way about it. How will I actually know when I'm saved?

Well, I hope you have been going to a Baptist Church in Godless UK and you have a Pastor watching over you. If you do not, I strongly implore you to email one of our Pastors for assistance.
The mere fact you want to get on the right path is commendable. I'll help you see the light any way I can

In that case, you haven't been.

1 John 5:12-13 (emphasis added): He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Well I never heard of a Baptist Church near me. York Minister is nearby but most of the churches have been turned into Mosques in England but I don't think I want to go to one of those. Like I said I did find a temple but I'm not sure where it was because no one would tell me where I was going.
