Hello everyone! I don't really know know why I'm on this forum. I guess mostly for entertainment. So let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am gothic, but I am not violent like everyone here thinks goths are. Acually, I happen to be a pacifist. I have grown up in a baptist church my entire life, and accepted Christ in my life when I was in third grade. I go to church four times a week, five if there is a Bible study going on. I'm a firm believer in God and I don't care if you people say otherwise. You don't know me, so how can you judge me? If there are any questions, just ask me. I'll answer anything.

It is not possible to be an actual Christian and a goth. Zephaniah 1:8
Jesus commands me to judge you. 1 Corinthians 2:15
If you had ever read the Holy Word of God, you would know that.

Re: Hello everyone
You use Zephaniah 1:8 to say that being gothic is wrong, but that verse only talks about people "clothed in strange attire." Who's to say what's strange and what's normal? We think that the way people dressed in the 50's is strange, but they thought it was perfectly normal. In the 70's, people wore bell-bottomed jeans and platform boots. Would most people wear that today? No. Fashion changes over time. People look back and think about how strange something was a long time ago when people in the future will look back at today and think, "Why on earth would anyone wear something that has Hollister written on it?" In Jesus' day, men wore robes. Do you wear robes? I didn't think so.This space is reserved for the posting of KJV Scripture ONLY. --ADMIN

Quick question about clothing
Which would you rather see a girl wearing? Something that is mainstream and seen everywhere such as this:
Or a darker, yet far more modest style such as this:
I know which one I would rather see people dressing in...This space is reserved for the posting of KJV Scripture ONLY. --ADMIN

Re: Quick question about clothing
Neither is acceptable. Both are far from modest. Both pictures scream 'Look at me! I would like to be raped".Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Clothing fashion is all 'strange', 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and today.Originally posted by Diversity View PostYou use Zephaniah 1:8 to say that being gothic is wrong, but that verse only talks about people "clothed in strange attire." A sensible suit, white shirt and dark tie for a man, a proper unassuming ankle length dress for a lady. Same as it has been for a thousand years.Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Re: Quick question about clothing
It is not only skin exposure. It is about attention grabbing. A proper dress is beige or blue. Mildly feminie, bot not too bright. No face paint. Hair managed. The second picture looks like a prostitute.Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Re: Quick question about clothing
There is blue on that dress and the hair is managed. It's called a curling iron. Not that hard to figure out. By "face paint" I think you're refering to makeup. 98% of women wear makeup. Get over it. You have to admit that the person in the second picture does look better than the person in the first, even though you do think the person looks like a prostitute. :/Originally posted by James Hutchins View PostIt is not only skin exposure. Re: Hello everyone
I merged the idiotic question thread that you made with this one, because it was a waste of God's bandwidth.
In the future, if you have any questions, PLEASE USE THE "SEARCH" FUNCTION first. Chances are, some pervert has pestered us with the same devilish hogwash in the past.

I don't think the second girl looks so much like a prostitute as a demon-infested drug-addicted mental patient.
