Hey everyone, I think it's time I introduce myself. You're in for the story that is my life with ups and downs. My name is Erik and I'm now 20 years old. I live in The Netherlands

It all started when I was 14 years old. I met some friends who introduced me to the nightlife and party scene. After a few months I started using drugs, mostly marihuana but after that the drugs became heavier. I was becoming an addict and got into a lot of conflict with the law. I violated the rules very often. I coarsed a lot, I masturbated at least every day, had plenty of pre-marital sex, would disrespect fellow humans, cheated on girlfriends, etc. I was probably one of the greater sinners out there. When I reached the age of 17 I dropped out of school to work for a friend. It involved selling drugs and pressuring people to pay their "bills". I got into a lot of trouble when doing that. I had commited serious offences. I raped a minor (she was 16) and I was caught for possession of hard-drugs. I got a 2-year jail sentence. It was there where I found Jesus. I have been shown the way of Jesus Christ during my time in prison. I behaved perfectly and got out of jail 3 months before planned. After that I started to rebuild a life. I got a job now at a factory, a new appartment. I turned my life a whole 360 degrees!

I now hope to be forgiven for my previous life.

I'm not sure finding Jesus in prison counts, actually.
Many convicts like you claim to be born again after a stint in the slammer, but after they are released do any of them attend Church?

I think what I have done could have happened in any other country.

And as for convicts going to church; I don't have a decent church in my area, all of them are Catcholic here. Should I go to one of theirs?

I hope you truly are forgiven, it sounds like it's going to take a lot of work on JESUS' part to love you. You already have one major blow against you, being from the Netherlands and all.
