    Greeting

I am a sinful agnostic. How would I go about finding your god and redeeming myself?

Obviously I have been seduced by the lord of deceit and blinded by my hubris.

Is eternal damnation all that awaits me or is there a path back to the light from the darkness in which I find myself?

Read the Bible. Believe it. Do what it says.

    Any questions?
    Bible boring? Nonsense!

You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

Do you go to church? Do you have a KJV 1611 Bible? If not, that is how you start. There is always a path to the light but there is only one correct path, and I'm glad you found it here.

What do I do when there's a verse that happens to require interpretation in order to apply directly to real life?

For example (perhaps a bad one?), a simple commandment like "thou shalt not murder" could mean that you must do all in your power to prevent death. That would mean doing anything less than killing yourself and donating your organs would make you an unworthy Christian, wouldn't it?

With so many different religious groups and interpretations, how am I to know what is right and what is wrong?

You'll have to forgive my ignorant questions, as I explained, I understand that I have been blinded by hubris and the devils lies, that's why I'm here.

Killing yourself is always wrong and I don't believe in donating organs.

Why don't you try it, and let us know. We'll wave to you across the chasm when you're in Hell for murdering yourself, OK?

If you could wave first with your left and then with your right hand, that will help us pick you out from the billions writhing in agony. Really, we don't want to wave to the wrong damned soul. Imagine the embarassment!

Scripture does not require interpretation. It says what it says.

Murdering (intentionally killing someone outside of a lawful situation such as warfare, self-defense, or execution) is against God's law. How difficult is that to comprehend?

That would be terribly embarassing!... but I think you're trying to be ironic here.

You're right my question was silly and I deserve you're sarcasm.

It's not difficult at all and I feel quite foolish for not having understood this immediately.

Truly, Reverend, you are miraculous I can feel the love of God washing over my soul already with my new found faith and belief. I think and hope desperately that my time on this forum will be my salvation.
