  • Hello, nice to meet you

    Hello everyone,

I have been reading through your forum and discovered many interesting veiw points.

I cannot say that I agree all the time, and sometimes I find some of the things written to be quite offensive.

My faith in God and how I conduct my life is based upon the Wizard of Oz. In this story three respective characters searched for a brain courage and a heart. The irony of this story is that although all of us were given these but have a reluctance to use them.

So, I have a brain to read and interpretate, courage to say the thing I want to say, and finally, a heart for compassion.

I believe that understanding and compassion are the greatest powers of all.

Jesus is my hero. I lot of people forget about Jesus when expressing their opinions about the world.

I waver between atheist and christian. Faith is a gift which I have not yet recieved.

But despite a faith crisis every week, I stick at it because I want to find out what is true. Christians, each to their own struggle with some personal battle when it comes to fruits of the spirit, mine happens to be faith.

I am looking foward to reading your opinions and scripture quotes and look foward to some reasoned discussions about Truth

We don't need you to agree with us, we are correct on all the issues. Our answers are found in the Bible.

If you want to follow the teachings of a child's book( I can't believe I wrote that) I guess that is your choice.
We True Christians® tend to follow the Word of God.

You have a brain, we will see. So far I am not too sure.
Courage, No you do not have it. It takes courage to follow the Word of God. We are bombarded by non believers each and every day. We must defend ourselves against Satan every day.

This sounds a lot like the Wizard of Oz. Are you trying to have fun by teasing Jesus?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Thank you for your nice introduction and for taking the time to reply to the things that I said, that was very considerate of you.

I am looking foward to expanding my Bible knowledge with such people as yourself.

Plus, I asked for `discussion` not ` debate`. I enjoy discussions but I am quite impartial to debates and arguments myself.

I like using discussions to improve my knowledge of things. We are all different and hearing from another person`s veiwpoint can often help me understand things clearer.

However, if you are against this, I am certainly happy to bear this consideration in mind.

Please don't thank us. Thank God, for without God, the concept of time would not even exist.

I don't mind discussing (or even debating) any given topic, but if you wish to be considerate, then please use the search function first. As you can see, this forum has hundreds of thousands of posts, so there's a good chance that a question has already been asked and answered before. Often people think they are the first to offer some insight, only to find out that we've dealt with the exact same issue years ago.

          Also good reading is this:
Please read this. You are our guest. We will treat you like a jewel on the cushion of our hospitality. Or maybe not.

Actually, the whole forum section is very insightful:
Please read this. You are our guest. We will treat you like a jewel on the cushion of our hospitality. Or maybe not.
I take my orders from Jesus H. Christ, supernatural born US citizen

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
          Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

You are most welcome. Tell me something why do you think Jesus guided you to our little Church?

I am looking foward to expanding my Bible knowledge with such people as yourself.
Do you have a KJV1611? Its the only Bible God recognizes.

Plus, I asked for `discussion` not ` debate`. I enjoy discussions but I am quite impartial to debates and arguments myself.

Good we can discuss the Word of God. Be aware we do not interpret the Word of God we follow it.

However, if you are against this, I am certainly happy to bear this consideration in mind.
Feel free to ask any question. We have the Bible to answer them

The evidence so far regarding your possession of a working cranial organ is decidedly not in your favor.

Strictly speaking, these things are all one and the same. Again, further disproving your 'brain' assertion above
