I would like to offer my opinions on the responder's character based purely on the fact that I know he is not a believer of a God.

If he is Atheist, how can he hate something that he doesn't know to exist. I can show anger, love or hatred for the old man that lives up my road for i know he exists but i can not hate or show anger or love towards the pink unicorn that lives in my garden that i know doesn't exist. I know there isn't a pink unicorn that lives in my garden because an animal of that size would not be able to live there, my garden is small and contains no viable food source for a creature th size of a horse.

You clearly don't understand copyright law. You can take quotes from any book, any film, any piece of free media and anything someone has said though you may not repeat the whole thing and claim it as your own and permission must be given to copy the whole thing.

I have never met Hitler, never seen any physical evidence of his existence though through compiling witness that all say he existed i can conclude he did. Why should I hate him, he's done me no wrong, i can't fix mistakes he's made, they've been made. I can be strongly against what he did and i most definitely am.

I am not sweeping that i don't like this atheist but i do not know this person, atheist or not. I do not have empirical, physical, photgraphical or otherwise evidence to base my liking or hating of this person. I am merely going on one post, maybe even completely out of context, on a forum.

But questioning is a purely human act, if we didn't ask questions how horrible do you think life would be today?
Even questioning God is healthy, at least healthier than having your parent's thoughts and ideals on religion spoon fed to you and parroted back to them. That's exactly why I'm on this site. I have questions that need answering, thoughts that need to be fully formed, opinions and ideas that need to be challenged/ questioned etc.

Sorry, but that's not in the KJV 1611 Bible. You quoted from a corrupt Bible, which is illegal on this forum and an insult upon God.

Allow me to explain:

First, notice that YOUR version has the word "love", while the KJV talks about "charity" ---- evidenced clearly by "I bestow all my goods to feed the poor". So it's obviously about charity, NOT about love.

13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Do you see the difference between "if" and "though"? They mean different things.

2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

And again the change of "though" with something NOT synonymous. "if" implies that the following is potentially not true, "though" implies that it is. Then there's "fathom" vs. "understand". The word "understand" implies an actual, thorough understanding, not something that requires much effort. And then there's "a faith" vs. "all faith". Certainly not a trivial change!!

And then there's REMOVING mountains vs. merely MOVING them. Removing is MUCH more difficult. Where do all the rocks go?
