    Confused! help please!

    So, today, I found this site upon searching for the new Harry Potter movie via google. needless to say, I found it, but it came with a price of this site as well.

    My name is Amorel, I'm 26 and I'm married to a wonderful man who loves me for who I am.
    We both attend the baptist church up the road from our house, and none of the pastors or staff ever talk about evil as much as you guys do. I'm confused as to think why everyone on this site believes that all things are evil.

    I "understand" that many think that Harry Potter is evil, or even the movie "The Golden Compass." I'm not sure why you people would believe this.

    I was at a funeral for my Brother-In-Law who was a Major in the U.S Military. And I just want to know why people would picket those types of events. So many morurning a loved-one who fought for your freedom of speech, assembly, and here you are (I'm not entirely sure if it is the type of thing that Landover Baptist Church would do, but) picketing a MILITARY funeral. Why would people gather to do such a thing? Is there anyone who attends LBC that was once part of the military?

    Anyways, I just don't understand much of the stuff that is on this site, and how candy can be evil, or taking a shower and cleaning your private parts can be evil.

    I pray that I can understand more.

      You understand that many think a movie that depicts witchcraft and divination is evil, but you don't understand why?
      This makes no sense.

      The golden compass is a movie about where children are going to kill God, but you don't understand why that is evil?

      Do you even have your husband's permission to be here?
      Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

          I have my husbands permission to clean the toilets, don't I? It doesnt bother him that I'm on a church forum.

              In the third novel of the books the children kill a character called "God".

                      Lost girl, now as a True Christian, of course I have not seen these movies. But I do not have to see them to know they are bad. Here are some basic rules to follow when selecting a movie.
                      Is the main theme related to God?
                      Does the movie promote the Baptist way of life?
                      Is the movie wholesome?
                      Are potty mouth words used?
                      Are there harlots in the movie?
                      Are there goths, juggalos, irish, italian, nigras, joos, mooslimes, indians, slants and any other undesirables in the show?

                      There is more but I am sure I do not have to spell it out for you. So you see, the Potter films and books are Satan's works. They an attempt to get you to migrate to the demon. Jut like when the man in the trench coat in the park offerers you candy, it is not because he is nice, it is because he wants to covert you to Homerism.
