    Hello

    I never understood the word hello. Anyways, nice to meet such wonderful people! I'm Celi, and I attend First Baptist Church in a small town in Texas. I am sixteen, turning seventeen on July Fourth. I stumbled onto your site because my family is soon moving to Iowa, and I was searching for churches there. I hate moving to a new place without a church to attend.

    Anyways, I am co-leader of the youth group of my church and I love to be in the middle of church activities.

    My favorite bible verse would have to be - Galatians 2:20 ; I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

    Or;
    Psalm 18:1 - I love you, O LORD, my strength.

    I am homeschooled, I couldn't stand public school with the homosexuals and unsaved. Also, I do not eat hoved animals, as said in the bible in Leviticus 11:1-47.

    Though, when I was in public school, where I used to live, I was highly involved with the JROTC, and I have an undying love for the U.S.' Military and soldiers serving our great country. Though, the lord still comes first.

    YITL,

    Celi
    Galatians 2:20 ; I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

      Oh, I'm terribly sorry for the confusion, but I am a female. :]

      And thank you for the welcome.

            Oh, that's fine. I never have learned to trust technology fully. So many problems with it and whatnot.

              Why thank you! I do agree, and thank the Lord daily for being blessed with such a wonderful gift.

                Praise Jesus! Such lofty goals that you want to attend Landover Baptist!

                No doubt I would love to have you there, but winning tickets to Landover has become even more difficult with the papists jumping the kidddy fiddling ship.

                Amen! My favorite verse is from the Crucifixion.

                Matthew 27:51-53
                Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
                And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
                And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
                And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

                It's the only verse that tells us of the dead rising and taking three days to get to Jerusalem.
                Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

                  I would love to attend such a godly and lovely church. I do believe I may add it to my list of goals that I keep before I am called for Judgment.

                  From what I have seen, it seems as if Landover is worth the wait. Though, I do hope that there is some kind of broadcasting of some sort; whether it be radio or television, perhaps even over the internet of some sermons. Nothing does the heart better than waking up early on the Lord's day and listening to his word.

                        Re: Hello

                        1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

                        I like this verse because it reminds us that as sinners we will not rejoice in everlasting life, that our Lord will not tolerate the unsaved trash that walks the earth.

                        But then, it goes on to say ;

                        1 Corinthians 6:11 - "And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

                        And, perhaps I like 6:11 better than 6:9-10. I love to be reminded how my Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins, that I would even be worthy of such an act makes me fall to my knees and praise God. What a mighty love He has for us, that His only Son would willing be crucified so that I may return to Heaven to sit next to my Father, sorry I'm getting carried away.
                        Galatians 2:20 ; I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

                            No, sir, but it was a nickname that happened to stick with me.
                            Celi, being my name, and then banana was just something they tagged onto it.

                            Actually, it happened while at a church retreat, we were just getting out of bible study when a small child only about five came running up to me asking me to help her fix her breakfast. I suppose it was because I had helped her the day before when we had had early bible study that morning. She wanted a banana, though, I wasn't sure if it was a good idea, and it just came out 'Celibanana!' all rushed together. A friend picked it up, and it just followed me on.
