My Testimony.
Hello, My Name is Leanna. I live in southern Ohio, and I'd like to share my testimony with you. As a 16 year old girl I have made several mistakes in my life. Id first like to state that if you wish to comment on my testimony I'd appreciate it if you could read the whole story before you do.
My life has been a mess for years, as a 13 year old girl I was lost in the Devils illusions. Although saved I had spat on gods teachings and started fornicating and engaging in illegal activity's such as stealing and Smoking cigarettes and cannabis. I was disobedient and a lier, and had been lying to my youth group about my actions. My 'boyfriend' became violent with me, and I became depressed, resorting to self harm as my means of venting.
By age 15, my life had fell apart. My parents, try as they might, could not get through to me; and my activity's conteniued. As corrupt as I was at the time I conteniued to go to my youth group regularly and ignore gods love for me. An then I became pregnant, the father to my son soon fled, and I was left alone to carry the child to birth. In order to protect the child I stopped all the corruption in my life, although i still wondered off gods path for me.
As my last stint as a child not a mother I attended a Christian music festival called "Alive." At this Festival I listened to several great speakers, and lots of up lifting worship music. On the last night of the festival the band 'News Boys' played the closing. During there testimonies I felt the magnificent grace of god flowing through the crowd, and as they played their last song of the night I fell to the ground. My friend, Brother Derrick caught me and layed me down. As I explained i was fine, I noticed I could not get up. As I laid there in amazement of gods glory, I realized who my life belongs to, and that God and his son are my only masters in life not the things holding me down such as drugs and Sex.
The day my son was born and i looked into his eyes, I knew god had a plan for me and this was it, why else would he grace me with such a blessing?
Today, I am working to follow gods path for me with out waver, and raising a beautiful baby boy.
God you and only you are my master, and I am your servant, use me for your purpose and accept my undying gratitude to you and your son for saving me.
