Hello,
I am a follower of Christ, which means, I try to follow his example, and live his teachings, because this is how we take his name upon us; having Christs name upon us, we need to be a good example of that name, if we don't, we will drag it through the dirt, and that dirt will be required at our own hands.
I will tell you that Jesus said, 'If ye love me, keep my commandments'. (John 14:15)
I do not need to prove my love for Christ to any person except to Christ himself, and he will judge me. We can't see the heart of man to judge, but only God can. But I know God lives, and that Jesus of Nazereth is the Christ, and that he will come again, as the signs are pointing to.
I commend those who try to live the commandments. But there are some here who are full of pride and judge others rashly, crying damnation here and damnation there. Christ himself was accused by the apostatized Jews for hanging out with sinners. But he, being full of mercy, came to bring the sinners to repentance. And he warned of the hypocrits who pray with boasting and pride... read Luke 18:10-14.
I posted a thread on this site, and all the principles I wrote were the very words of Christ to all of us, for we are all sinners, and fall short of the glory of God. It's Christ's grace that makes up the difference. However, though I said nothing against what Christ has said, one from this site gave me an infraction. Only those to whom my words offended are guilty. I named no names, but the guilty take the truth to be hard, because it pierces them to the very centre. And the sinner will always be the first one to cast stones rashly. He that has no sin among you, let him cast the first stone.
These words I speak are of Christ. If you claim that I am a sinner for telling the truth, and teaching what Christ himself taught, and still cry damnation to me, you are not damning me, because they are not my words, for they are of Christ. And I shall know who you follow with your lips, and who you follow with your heart. He who is truly righteous, shall not be offended at my words, but will agree with them, if they truly follow Christ.
I care about keeping Christs name sacred and holy, and I will speak up when I see another dragging it through the dirt by a bad example.
You told me I have no rights here, but you are wrong. God gives us rights of freedom not unhinged from responsibility, and the devil seeks to take them away; Satan is the father of lies, and uses lies to take away freedom.
If you want to prevent me from posting here, you have that right, but it will not take away my rights to warn elsewhere when I need to. God bless you all, and don't be offended, because that is not the intent. This message is only to those who harbour anger, envy, malice, and judge rashly; and to those who are merciless, and have no empathy, nor compassion; and to those who are proud and are hypocrits. To these people I do not cry hell and damnation, for that is for Christ to decide, not man, but I say that if you admit your sin before God, and repent, you can be saved.
Christ is real; he is aware of us. I testify in his name that we will come before him someday, and will need to make an accounting of how we treated our brothers and sisters in our mortal life, and how we treated ourselves; and how we used his name, whether it be for good or for evil. My best hopes are upon all of us, that we can strive together in this world in support of Christ and for all that he stands for. That we might uphold faith in Christ; hope in our salvation; charity to all God's children, even the sinners (Matthew 5:43-45).
Thanks for reading.
