    Can I be saved?

    Hi, I'm new here.
I grew up in an atheist home, but as I grew older I learned how wrong my parents where. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my savior and I have broken off contact with my birth parents. Now my only father is God. But will he love me?
Since I have so many years of sin, not knowing better, I fear for eternal damnation. Will I ever be able to make amends for those years?
Please tell me, do I stand a chance?

    I Jesus

    Re: Can I be saved?

My parents were GODless Protestants, and I believe that you can be saved if you accept GOD and His Son, and repent all your wicked sins.

Just pray to The LORD every day, and eventually He will forgive you.

Matthew 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Your parents were awfully evil to mislead you like that for so many years, but you'll have the last laugh when you're in HEAVEN watching them burn for their sins.

You can be saved, If you keep up a daily ritual of making offerings of cheerios and salad cream to a picture of our lord jesus christ. God forgives all!

Living in a nation rampant with whores openly plying their sinful wares, filthy drugs freely sold, and doctors willing to pull the plug on your granny; it will be difficult.

A good start would be a direct meeting where you can go on your knees in front of Pastor Zeke.

And generous tithing would greatly help your cause.

Yes, provided that you haven't blasphemed against the Holy Ghost (as already pointed out). Regarding your parents, you must honor them and not curse them, even as you hate them for having tried to keep you away from Jesus:

Matt. 15:4: For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

Luke 14:26: If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
