    ----

I come to you with a very sincere problem. Last night, I found out that my wife of 22 years, has been seeing other men, and exclusively seeing a certain man for the last 6 months, and that includes sexual contact. My daughter also came to me after my wife had, thinking that she could be open with me, and that she gave her boyfriend a "blowjob"*cringe* last evening. At first I didn't know how to react to this, praying to God, asking him why this has happened to me. We raised our kids right in all of gods word and blessing Lexi(14) and Matthew (17) and were blessed to have only had to beat them minimal times. I have no idea how to react to this. Please guide me and tell me what to do. I am constantly praying to God asking him what I should do, and feel he has directed me to some fine individuals after reading what you men have done.

Please brothers, this is killing me.

The Bible is quite clear, that you are able to divorce her.

Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

But as Brother Levi mentioned, you may want to take this up with your local pastor. Is there any hope for the relationship? Divorce should be a last case option.

This is why I believe my daughter knows such sexual act.

She said that she felt guilty and felt as she betrayed God and his trust. I assume her 'boyfriend' told her that bastard heathen. ( I was as shocked as you are finding out for the first time that my FOURTEEN year old has a boyfriend.) We only let her out when she is with us and she goes to volunteer at our church. She said they snuck away from the group and did that in the pews. Needless to say I pulled her from the program immediately and am having a nice long chat with the programs supervisor tomorrow morning.

Hmm.... your Youth Pastor definitely needs a talking too. Children are there to learn the word of God, not to be sneaking off to do nasty things in the pews.
Somebody asked why my daughter's name isnt from the bible.

The name comes from my wife's mother who devoted her life to God, helping the unfortunate and misguided children of America. I gave that gift to my wife because she gave me the gift of our children.

I think there was a mis-understanding and somebody thought you were referring to a book that wasn't in the Bible.

I would like to believe there is hope in our relationship. But I feel so betrayed I am not feeling stable right now.
