    Hi I'm new here

Hi everyone, been moved around by my parents quite a bit over the last few years and have finally ended up living with my aunt and uncle in Los Angeles, California.

I have been baptised but my parents never really took this seriously and since moving in with my aunt i have re-kindled the flame for the lord again.

Looking forward to meeting some friends on here to guide me down the right path to salvation.

    alleluia

    Hello and welcome.

What church do your guardians take you to? What is your favorite verse from the Holy Bible?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Welcome Ned. You can start by reading the King James Bible of 1611 from cover to cover. Then report back.

Thanks for your advice Billy, I will ask my aunt for a copy and get reading. Will just have a look around the site for a while. Thanks to both of you for your speedy replies and the welcomes

I'm not sure to be honest, I'm pretty new and it might be an expression or act of some description. Why don't you ask a pastor????

Hi Ned, I hope you don't mind if I call you Ned, I wonder if you can explain the contradictory nature of the two quotes that I posted. Are you really serious about Jesus, Ned, or are you just pulling my leg?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

                  Re: Hi I'm new here

                  Hello, La Ned.

I have a concern. "La" is the French definite article in the feminine gender. "Ned", on the other hand, tends to be a boy's name. You're not a homersexual, are you?

I remind you of Leviticus 20:13:

""If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them."

But our creator is very found of those of short stature, why do you not love them as our Lord does?

                    The Book of Midgets/Midgits
                    Chapter I
9 And into the world the Midgets did come.
10 For they were indeed extremely cute and cuddly.
11 The bald midgets were sometimes confused by the FSM with sticks of roll on deodorant.
12 This amused the FSM greatly,
13 who named the bald midgets 'The Rexona' or ' The Rexonii' (plural).
14 But extremely cute and cuddly they were.
15 In the early days the midgets grew much Basil and Herbs.
16 And in the absence of protein in the diet, they did not grow tall.
17 And the leader of their tribe was Egbert.
18 For he was so loved by the FSM for his baldness, that he was spared from further midget gags as an act of charity.
                    Chapter II
26 "Egbert, the midgets are my most blessed subjects.
27 You have brought me great piles of basil and herbs.
28 You have let me dish out many bad midget jokes at your expense.
29 For you have remained my most venerable subjects
