Here is a text example of (old)Danish/English from around 0-100 A.D.

"Her for se here to Lundebbyrigh from Readinghum and thær vintersetl nam; and tha namon Mierce frith with throne here."

In modern English:

"Here the army marched to London from Reading and established winterquarters there; and then the Mercians made peace with the army"

In Modern Danish:

"Her marcherede hæren til London fra Reading og establerede vinterkvarterer der; Og så lavede grænsefolkene fred med hæren."

If Jesus did speak any kind of English, then Danish is certainly as good as English. There was a reason to the babel.

Maybe it was a test from the Lord himself, after the accident I had a hard time learning to write and read - the teacher said I was stupid and I did rely on physical strenght, it was easier than speaking with them because I also began to lack behind the others when it came to speak proporly ...
