    Laneon's intro

Being raised in a christian lifestyle many of the things I see here plainly disgust me.
I realize that this is an old thread and that many of you either don't, or won't bother checking the new post, but after having read through this I have to reply.

I'm going to start by saying, you will put me in as going to hell and all the rest of that wonderful stuff.

To begin with. I am a woman. I am a woman who does not cook, clean, or do my husband's bidding. I am what I'll freely call an intelligent woman, as many of my friends and family also are. It is an insult, not only to females, but the human race itself to call women stupid. Men would be lost without us.

Secondly, I noticed that the beginning of this thread was nicely populated with select pictures used to dictate what was being said. I'm sure whichever one of you played through enough to get those pictures probably thoroughly enjoyed themselves while doing it, as sims is a long and tiresome game that if you're not having fun, you will quit playing.

Thirdly, God has asked men to be kind to one another, to accept them and to "Treat others as you would want to be treated." And yet, going through this thread I saw a few things that I'm pretty sure go against that: queer, jap. joo (pretty sure that's meant to be jew). I ask this, while walking around one day, would you like someone to walk up to you and blatantly tell you what a cracker you are?

However, while I'll post this, and put my opinion up, while waiting to be banned for it. I'll also accept the fact that you will call me names, you will call me stupid and you will laugh and mock me to your hearts content. I say thing because it is what I saw in the 6 pages of this thread. People who call themselves Christian being so thoroughly un-Christian-like.

In fact, as a person who plays games, I'd like to make a comparison for you. In a game that my Uncle coded, there was a group of players. They took upon themselves to make other players feel unworthy and like they should just jump off a bridge. You my fellows, remind me of them. It makes my heart cry to see how you treat other people.

So you're so happy in your life that you have to come uninvited onto a board in order to go through our login system, wait for a confirmation email, just to sign on here and post one post telling us that we're disgusting.

Wow, I'm glad I'm not as busy as you.

Well that is what is going to happen to false Christians.

To begin with. I am a woman. I am a woman who does not cook, clean, or do my husband's bidding. I am what I'll freely call an intelligent woman, as many of my friends and family also are. Are you a lesbian? How can you hate men so much? This is just the product of the femnazi attack on our media. They make men out like children.

You don't know that screenshots can be found on line?

Yep MEN! Good Christian men. As for people telling me I'm a cracker, happens pretty much every day, hating whites is freedom of speech.

So your uncle made his Sims kill themselves, and this has what to do with us? I think it speaks a lot more about the mental stability of your uncle. **backs away**

Men would be lost without you? Sounds like they're pretty hungry with you.

Get in the kitchen, woman, and learn how to use a frying pan!

Don't be ashamed by your lack of kitchen prowess, I even managed to teach my Eskimo wife how to make barely passable meals. There were bumps along the road, of course. Her attempts to boil toast, and microwave ice cubes come to mind.

But if she can learn, anyone can.

Thank you Brother, I missed that. Sounds like the men in her life would be better off without her.

Proverbs 9:13-18 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing. For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, To call passengers who go right on their ways: Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

Precisely, my sister in Christ. Let's ignore the parts of the Bible that offend our delicate 21st century sensibilities!

All those scriptures Paul wrote concerning women, I say burn your bra and throw them out.

          Ephesians 5:22-24

That's an excellent philosophy, but it is not truly encompassing of all the beliefs that are laid out in the Bible.

Indeed, being called a cracker would hurt my feelings to the point of tears. I would never use such vile names.

I know how to cook, and I cook, as well as my fiance. I am not a lesbian, as the person before you posted but I do not enjoy to be treated as the next trash slave. I am my fiance's EQUAL. As all men AND women are equals.

You all need to grow up and join the 21st century. You do not act Christian, you act as the one poster accused me of, of being false Christian's, you do not show one another love, you hate, you accuse and you cause and inflict pain.

As per the "my uncle caused sims to kill themselves" you either choose not to bring in the context of what I was saying or twisted it. I was not even talking about the sims in that paragraph, in fact I was talking about a game titled Realms of Despair, a multi-user dungeon, and a group of HUMANS who acted like such to other HUMANS. I was saying that you act as if you are better than everyone else and treat others like dirt. Which is what I got from the context of what you are saying.

I do not see that you are trying to be Christian at all when talking to other people, just that you are trying to bring them down so that they might give up and just accept your way of life. Proper Christian teaching shows people the light, it doesn't smother them in darkness until they lie on the ground begging for the light.

As for "all men would be lost without me" there's another twist on words. I said "us" not "me". How many married men cook, clean, do laundry, the dishes, all of it? any of it?

Where in the Bible does it say to revise it for each generation? The Bible actually says the opposite.
Psalm 12:6-7 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Oh your uncle was into D&D.... Well then why don't you blame the demons that infested these people for their deaths? Hey, it was in a Sims thread and you wrote
In a game that my Uncle coded, there was a group of players.
I thought you were talking about Sims characters.

Don't worry on me. I can take care of myself fine with this group of ruffians. I am not unarmed with wits and knowledge of the Word.

Only homosexual men would do women's work.

I suppose you would have men iron their socks and rub their own feet after work and give birth a well.

Well lets see, my husband was a bachelor into his 40's, so that's one. I have 3 male family members who never married (chose the path of Paul) that's 4, and that's only in my immediate family. Then there's our own little bleeding heart who hangs around here for some reason, that's 5. Sister Pamela mentioned homers, they're known for being fastidious housekeepers. Since you don't do it, I assume that your husband has to pick up the slack, or do you just live like slobs and your house will be on one of those freak TV shows one day?

Well it seems like there's a lot of men who aren't afraid to wash a dish. But it's the in thing these days to insult and run down men, isn't it. Sad really, men are supposed to have a noble position in our society. The heads of the household, the bread winners, instead society mocks them and treats them like children, then wonders why the younger males in our society aren't stepping up and becoming men.

Speaking of the Word, I would ask you more pointedly your opinion on Paul's writings regarding women and how it fits in with your own walk with God.
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

This line of scripture, written by Paul himself sums up quite a lot of what I believe. He plainly states that men and women are equal.

As for the orc, half-orc etc comment about me being racist.. wow.. just wow..

Amen, we are all equal in the eyes of Jesus.

There are conditions. Women are to be obedient to their husbands. Servants are to be obedient to their masters.

I would direct you to Ephesians 6 as to how slaves are to act. Certainly you don't believe in slavery? It's good that you can simply throw out the parts of the Bible you deem to be irrelevant. It's all really about our faith and being good to each other, right?
