But it does sound to me as tho you have a yearning for a better life.

In fact I would go so far as to say you want to experience the love that only God can provide.

There's plenty of churches, yes even Baptist, in Vegas. I watch the silliness every Sunday at the one down the street.

Have you all ever thought of the resources you use every week just to get the family to sit on benches and listen to nonsense from other humans in weird outfits? Electricity, A/C, dry cleaning suits, driving cars, etc.. Heck, if you all just stayed home every Sunday, gas alone would probably drop in half.

And I'm not trying to FIND anything, so please spare me the "love that only God can provide routine", sister.

I am here because most other bible-thumping forums ban me immediately when I identify as an atheist or ask a simple theological question. It would APPEAR that you are somewhat more tolerant and I look forward to discussions. Although I've already managed two red bars of rep and an infraction in a mere two posts...

Well, Larry - you've certainly managed to get off to a bad start. But, as the Captain says, we're a welcoming and tolerant community, though we won't stand for badmouthing Jesus.

If you have questions, please go ahead and ask them. Our answers will always be Biblically correct.

Who knows - you may even come to know Him, repent of your sinful ways and be washed in His blood.

I quit voting years ago when I realized there is no difference at all between "Republicans" or "Democrats". If you are sending hard earned money to any politician, you might as well flush it down the toilet. You think the GOP cares about your faith? LOL! They play you for suckers and the money rolls in....

It's probably better that somebody like you doesn't vote. It makes it easier for us to get GODly Republicans elected in landslide elections, who will reform our country into a more CHRIST-like place where sinners may one day be legally executed, as the Bible says they should be.

We're always happy to answer genuine questions. You'd be surprised by how many people are surprised when they learn what the Bible actually says, rather than what they've been told it says.
