    Any hope?

    Hello everyone,

I'm new here. I've been trying to find Jesus, and it seems like here I've finally found a place where I can being that search in earnest.

However, I have some flaws. I'm working on them, but I wanted to ask first about those I can't change. I am Irish. I think part of my problem has been the prevalence of Mary in any religious setting here, which is why I tried looking online. I have stopped drinking (my parents had given me alcohol since I was 6), and I have committed acts of which I am now deeply ashamed, but I honestly wish to try to be better now, and earn forgiveness.

My question is, as I am Irish, is there any hope for redemption?

    Thank you for any response

    Do you go to church?
What is your favourite KJV1611 bible verse?
What are those terrible things you have done.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
Ezekiel 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Genesis 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
Song of Solomon 1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.

Do you own a King James version bible?

If not you can use the online one here.

      Start reading Girly!

      You can be saved.

      Praise God!
      2 Chronicles 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land Australia.

I haven't been to church in the last few years, but I do own and read the bible. Probably less than I should (an hour a day on weekends), but I'm going to increase that.

And terrible things... well, been too intimate with men. I can't change that, since it's in the past, but I'm going to try and make up for it.

What Bible are you reading. Is it the King James Bible 1611.

Why don't you read it more. The Lord gave it to you read.

          Do you have any children.
Why were you drinking, is it because you are a cathlick

I think it's a good hope one, but I have the king james online, and since finding this site, I've been using that. I read more than I did before, though, so it's not that I'm not reading any more, I'm just starting.

            I don't have any children.

And I'm not sure why I was drinking; it's just the norm here, I suppose. I never got drunk, but I then decided to stop entirely a few years ago. I was baptised as a catholic, but I'm not sure I want to stay in that church, it doesn't always make sense to me.

If that was a baptism as a baby then it doesn't count. You need a full dunking total immersion as an adult in a True Christian(tm) Baptist church before it means anything!

You should get yourself a copy of the King James Bible. Do you have any Baptist churches near you. catholic churches are not real churches.

It was, thank you for all the information and help - I hadn't known of any baptist churches in Ireland, but I've just found a website that lists them. I'll go there on Sunday.

Make sure you get a KJ Bible before you go. Have you given yourself to the Lord Yet. Is there a favorite bible passage you have.

                        Dear friend:

Once you are saved, God will forgive any sin that you committed in your unsaved Romanist past, as long as it isn't blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Doesn't Ireland have this all out civil war between cathlicks and protestants? Are you going to have your knee caps blown to smithereens if you tell anyone that you are converting to the only True Christian(tm) religion ... that being Baptist.
