Oh, I see..... So if we don't beg you to convert then you'll say that it's all our fault that you're not going to be a Christian and will burn in hell. Sorry, you're not the first one to bring that game to this board.

Well the Bible tells us that God has already decided whether you are going to heaven or hell, so it doesn't matter what we say. If you are hell bound, God will just harden your heart against the truth.

Acts 13:48 "And as many as were ordained to eternal life believed."

Rom.8:29-30 "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate.... Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."

Rom.9:11-22 "For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth .... For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction."

Eph.1:4-5 "He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will."

2 Th.2:11-12 "God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned."

I (an agnostic) am on a True Christian™ forum because seeing more than one side of something gives you more knowledge about it. Just like your example of a vegan at a steak buffet (or something, I tend to have short-term memory loss when I've been awake for more than 20 hours). The vegan goes there because he want's a non-vegan view on eating meat. Unless we are talking about two different vegans?
Would you go into the vegan shop and start asking questions and annoying everyone there, no. You would take a look around and see what it has to offer.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
Ezekiel 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Genesis 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.

        Re: Hello

That is not what I meant. I don't want you to beg me to convert, I want to to tell me why I should convert (other than the obvious threat of burning in hell). And if I fail to convert when you give me proper reasons, it's my fault. As I said, I believe in logic.

However, if my doom or salvation is predestined, why are you wasting your time with me? If everyone are already doomed or saved from the minute they are born, why should you go out of your way to change that? Live life the way you want, you're doomed or saved anyways, nothing you do will change it. Somehow, I don't feel like believing in this predestined doom of yours.

Personally I do not care whether YOU convert or not.

I know that I am saved and going to Heaven.

I gave you the link for the KJV1611 bible.

If you really were logical you would have started reading it.

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land Australia.

Your answer is in the Bible. God gave you the will to believe in Him. It is your choice.

So slamming a book in my face and telling me to read it is going to save me from eternal doom? Somehow, that seems a bit farfetched.

Where can I find the delete button?

You cannot save yourself using a delete button. Besides, God knows what sins you have committed and if you believe in Him.

PS: The delete button is on your keyboard under the insert button, or above the arrow keys.

Well I'm not sure what your asking for here. Why should I drive on the left side of the road(assuming your in North America), other than the obvious threat of being in a head on collision if I drive on the right. Why should I not bath with my toaster besides the obvious threat of being electrocuted.

If you don't believe, you go to hell. If you do believe, you go to heaven.

Well if you're going to dismiss the Bible because you "don't feel like believing in it", I'm not sure we have much to talk about, because that's what everyone on this board uses. We are a Bible believing Church. You could go to a liebral, God loves you no matter what church if you want your ego stroked, but don't be surprised on judgment day when you're dragged off to hell.

Why do we bother? Because you could be one of the ones that are predestined for heaven. Jesus tells us to preach the word to all the nations, and what reaches all the nations faster than the Internet? We have members on this board from all over the world, and I have personally seen mockers come on here and convert.

The other one, where you delete a certain thread. I believe this thread was doomed to eternal hell the minute it was born.

One last question, though: Is using pseudonyms considered lying, and therefore a sin?

Not unless you are claiming to be that person. For example, my name BelieverInGod is obviously not real, I am a BelieverInGod though so it's not a sin. However if I joined under the name of Jesus, or God (many have) or a famous person and claimed to be that person, then yes it would be a sin.

Oh, and the answer to one of my first questions, the first thing God created was time.

Could a mod or admin ban me please? I don't feel like staying on these forums. Registering was a bad idea. No offense to anyone on the forums, you just rub my proverbial fur the wrong way.
