Re: Come come...
How can the church evolve when God doesn't change? The Bible is as valid today as when it was first written.
With that settled could we attend some other matters?
When reading Psalm 115:1-8 do you ever get the feeling that the statues of gold and silver used by heathens are suspiciously like the statues you cathlicks worship?
And how do you reconcile your behavior with Matthew 6:7-8?

Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
And could you point out where in the Bible it says Mary is a God who can answer prayers? Or is all that praying to her for naught?Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
