Howdy all, my name is JJ. I live just north of the Twin Cities here in Minnesota. I'm a big Viking fan. Of late I feel very distance from God.

I think you've already identified the problem. Instead of being on the LORD's team on Sundays and keeping the Sabbath holy, you are worshiping a gang of sweaty negroes dressed up like pagan marauders. This secular religion is very close to God-mocking and idol worship. Do you keep pagan Viking symbols in your house - pennants (devil talismans), bumper stickers, Viking key chains and posters and shirts and who knows what else? How many JESUS penants do you have? I think the Minnesota Vikings coined the term "Hail Mary".
