Yes, I wholeheartedly agree with Brother Levi; that is the best reason to become a Christian. I would also like to add that the teachings of Christianity (the KJV1611) are true and complete, while the teachings of all other religions (e.g. atheism, Buddhism, evolutionism, Islam, homosexualism, abortionism...) are completely false.

Okay then. Well, i've been Atheist for a little while now. And, i'm quite sure there's nothing "bigger" out there. I used to be a pretty strong Christian actually, very strong indeed. Until, I suffered a car crash, and both of my parents were in the front, bleeding to death. I prayed to Him to save them, because I didn't want to be an orphan. They died, very very painful deaths. I'm now living with the most horrible person ever alive, who frequently beats me for absolutely NOTHING.

Until, I suffered a car crash, and both of my parents were in the front, bleeding to death. I prayed to Him to save them, because I didn't want to be an orphan. They died, very very painful deaths. I'm now living with the most horrible person ever alive, who frequently beats me for absolutely NOTHING.

How about running a charity shop? Feeding the poor and hungry and homeless EVERY SINGLE DAY. How about giving up all of their possessions to allow the less fortunate some more comfort?

Excuse me, I don't necessarily wish to comment on what you are arguing here, but I would just like to point out that the only religions you pointed out are Islam and Buddhism. Atheism, evolutionism, homosexualism, and abortionism are not religions.

Those people aren't priests or martyrs. Richard Dawkins was a scientist and Christopher Hitchens was an author. Marilyn Manson has nothing to do with Atheism, he is a Satanist.

Homosexuality is not synonymous with Catholicism, thus it is not a religion. Look it up either in the dictionary or your scriptures.

Abortions are not religious at all and are merely a method of giving a woman who is pregnant the option to choose whether or not she wants to go through with having a child.

Evolution is a scientific theory(which has been pretty much proven and is part of mainstream education) that has no religious basis.
