    Re: "hello"

Your understanding, and consideration of my solitude is welcome, Mrs. Dewitt; I feel that Someone who knows me very well has quickened your heart in this! My house is in an unpopulated area - indeed I often jest to myself that if a wild animal grabbed me I could scream for days and no-one would ever hear! - but it is not the only environment I inhabit. Work (such as it is) takes me to the fleshpots of Europe where painted trollops flaunt their agile limbs in the service of Beelzebub and men’s souls grow hard for low debauchery. Only the money-lenders grow rich.
Although, thinking about it, other people must make something out of it, otherwise there would be no pay-packets (such as they are) and no mountain retreats! But I am not paid to think.
Would a gentleman hear all that and not despise me as a whorish thing? If Mr. Davidson has patience, and the strength for details of my scarlet boulevard, well.. the journey might take some time (and it could be a bumpy ride) but if he could stick it out I’m sure I’d open up in the end, and maybe quite soon. You know.. sometimes I just feel as though I could burst inside!
Perhaps if you mentioned my dilemma to your friend, see what he thinks (I know I can trust your discretion) and I’ll think about your suggestion over the next couple of days.
    Very kind regards,
    ML

Yes, I yearn to be bound in matrimony. Professional exertions across 3 continents limit the availability of Godly men prepared to shackle me - there is no shortage of heathens, of course - and I wait in wretchedness for any healing ministry that may come upon me here at Landover Baptist. Miss Mitza,

You may be pleased to know that we DO have many a good True Christian gentleman residing in Australia. Brother Warner Davidson is just one I can mention off the top of my head and he certainly is the epitome of all things GODLY in that usually, God forsaken land. Considering his past as well, meeting with you may be just what he needs, as in his pre-Jesus loving life, he was into trashy, face-painted like harlots sluts! As you really don't have a face, he would not be able to even consider slipping back into his old ways.

It is obvious you do need some Godly guidance though, so perhaps we could arrange a meeting between the two of you? If you like, I can approach the lovely Brother Davidson to see if he would be interested?

    YIC

    Mrs. Phebe Dewitt.

    Hello,

May I ask, why do you have no husband? You come across as a somewhat Godly woman!

Also, if you need some help with a facial reconstruction, we do have some loose Mr/Mrs Potato Head eyes and noses in the Sunday School play box.

    YIC,

    Mrs. Phebe Dewitt.

PS. Please refrain from calling my husband by his first name. I do not see that he has given you permission to do so!

Hello Felicity, and thanks for your kind thought.
I’ve read the links you posted and hope that I haven’t suggested anything that might be taken as “opinion” or a presumption of “rights” - both of which are demonic and lead to questioning Pastors’ words & actions, abandoning all to ageless anguish, agony and abominatation in the hell of ugly devils, provided through His infinite love by a compassionate Creator that all may be led to a fuller experience Glory! at His Pastor’s hand.
oh, I thought this was a thread in the introductions forum - if I’ve made a mistake .. ..

@MitzaLizalor Welcome! I hope we can be friends!

Since you are new here please look at our please read this before posting and our your rights on this forum threads! If you already did that, just do it again. There you can learn that this forum is not about debating or unsaved opinions but about praising Jesus!

If you didn't do that yet, it would be great if you could make a thread of your own in the introductions section of the forum! That way everyone here can meet you and see how much you love Jesus!

Thank-you for those encouraging words, perhaps more strengthening, in my shame, than you know. Of course I do particularly value guidance from a Pastor, and my early steps may falter. To answer your question I am drawn to a verse in John chapter 4 "The woman answered and said, I have no husband" verse 17a
You may glean the nature of my shame, but I believe you will be there to pick me up and so step forward in hope.
Thanks, too, to Sister Mary Maria for your greeting.

    Re: "hello"

The response here has been warm and I’m pleasantly surprised that those of you who have replied with gentle concern for my story have not judged me - as so many have in the past - from any appearance to the contrary.
Yes, James, I have been touched today. In the past it may be that evil sought me out, and its touch is one I recognise at once however well disguised. Now I realise that many who came to me were disguised, artful in the ways of Satan their father and persuading me with untruths
“…he is a liar, and the father of it” JOHN 8:44
The words reaching me through Landover Baptist have shown me that there is another way. They killed Jesus. Perhaps they will kill me. But jesus did not turn away, and now I can see that neither should I turn away. Does that help you to understand where I’ve come from, landoverlover?
Thanks for those hints re. the signature-line quote by the way; it’s working now.
Oh yes, James - weakness often seduces me through what I’ve seen, backsliding is that? but (as you’d noticed) my eyes no longer offend me. Imagine my surprise then, when God’s gift of fragrance so suddenly blossomed in me!
I didn’t need sight then, to recognise what Satan would thrust before me! Revelation 17:4 tells me that it was not precious stones and pearls sent to lure me in my weakness, but also tells me in chapter 18 verse 4 that there is
“another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out’”.
One of Landover Baptist’s children's stories I read recently afforded a thoughtful moment in its depiction of The Pit Of Hell when it quoted Mark 9:43-47.
My nose no longer offends me.
So was it Satan who defiled me? Perhaps. But now, I know that I am as I should be. Genesis 3:1
Lisa H was an encouragement. I have examined more closely the recent posts, and could mention that I live in a forest region where there is no church. I do not work here but in England, as a musician. Is that the sort of thing that I should include?
I think that’s about it for now - there is washing, scrubbing, dishes, wood-chopping, chainsaw maintenance & cooking calling now, but I’m not going away and will check the board as I go.
(I’ve just noticed some more replies, so for any suggestion not addressed in this post, my apologies - I’m not ignoring you, and will update presently).

OK - I've tried a slight edit to add a signature (and yes, I did notice that little detail you mentioned!)
In pondering your question and kind reference to those following two verses in Job, I was reminded of a reference in I Kings 16:33
"and Ahab made a grove…" which I understand refers to the alien practice of erecting sacred poles for some unexplained reason; and again in Jeremiah 7:10
"come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations" I fear that all this is leading to some experience very like "being swallowed".
I can't remember all the other questions you asked, but I live in Australia and apologise for a slow(ish) response: I'm still trying to get the hang of the profile page, lighting a fire, making tea.. I'll post this now and check both the updated signature and your further questions.
    ..and thanks for the welcome

That's taken from the Jerusalem Bible - referring to mirrors of the period as being made from polished metal - and how reassuring it is to know that the sky is also made from polished metal. Or glass.
Perhaps someone could advise how to incorporate a verse, such as the above, in a signature line or something?
    Thank-you.

Praise Jesus, welcome to our Church. Tell me Sister how has Jesus touched you today? What happened to your face, did Satan scrape it off?

    Good advice landoverlover.

You are able to add your picture but cannot add a signature. Try looking harder.

Welcome to God's Only Forum. Please pay no attention to instructions given you by Knight of Nothing. Like another shady character around here, Dingleberry or something, he is turning out to be a disappointment best avoided.

Before getting into the how-to-quote business, we'd sure like to know about you. Where are you from? What church do you go to? How did you find baby Jesus in your own life?

    Please tell us more.

Sounds good to me. Accept advice from unsaved trash that also does not have a signature line themself. Yep. Click on that little red cross that you fail to see. Uh huh! Yep? I hope you find what you are looking for. [/sarcasm]
