My name is Shela Tansper, i live in Pendle Hill Lancashire and i am a counselor dealing with self harm and possible suicide cases.

I have two grown up boys who have a boy child each and we all attend the Ernest street Baptist Church in Lancashire which i have done since i was taken there by my parents and my grandparents and we will carry this on through each generation. I hope to gain even more knowledge and enlightenment from this forum and look forward to gaining this from the educated people that visit here.

A cautious Welcome to you! You have two "grown up boys." Does this mean they are "men"? I'm wondering if there is more than meets the eye here.
If they have a "child each" then you are their grandmother? Again, just clarifying what should be obvious.

How did you come to invite the Lord Jesus Christ into your life? What is your favorite pie? Does your husband approve of your being on the computer?

Are your suicide cases Catlicks who have awakened screaming as they realized they are on the path to hell?

Thank you for the welcome and i can understand you being Cautious as i was not clear in my introduction, it's an old habit i find hard to break still calling them my boys they are both men and yes i am a grandmother.

I may be frowned upon for this but my husband was taken from me one night three years ago as he was cycling home form his job as a station master on the local railway, it was a hit and run and the only witness said it was an orange Datsun with at least six occupants but it was dark and the car had no lights on and the only thing the witness added was that thier faces looked dark as well. I have not looked for another man so spend more of my time at the church.

As i said i have attended church since i was born and taken by my parents so all that i know is that the Lord Jesus has always been there.

My favorite pie is my home made apple pie as i am blessed with having an orchard on my land.

I am sorry if i am not clear enough, i counsel people who have carried out self ham on them selfs or who have either threatened to or have attempted to commit suicide.


The name should be Sheila but my parents and the registrar got it wrong on my birth certificate so it has always been that way

Welcome and I was sorry to hear about the loss of your husband - was he riding on the railway line? It is difficult for trains to stop, perhaps the witness was the train driver? It would be very difficult to identify a Datsun full of accursed wretches from that distance.

Thank you for your support, he was crossing the railway line on his cycle when he was hit by the car coming in the opposite direction, i was trying not to go into to much detail but as he was lying there on the tracks possibly still alive and before the witness to get to him he was hit by the 22.10 express train which was doing 125 MPH so the identity i had to carry out at the morgue was harrowing but i found the strength and could only identify him from his wedding ring.

Why do you say hell, did you know my husband and the good he done during his short stay on this earth.

It was just an assumption on my part. Usually grisly deaths are the result of somehow offending God. Those called to heaven die in their sleep.

We don't have a car due to Frank (husbands name) working on the railways we got free travel so had no need for one, he rode the bicycle because it helped ease the pain from the chronic arthritis he had in both knees.

It was just an assumption on my part. Usually grisly deaths are the result of somehow offending God. Those called to heaven die in their sleep.

Oh i understand now, so maybe he was hiding something from me and has paid for it through the eyes of the lord. I can see that i am going to have to have a long think about things like the amount of overtime he was doing and yet we were still short of money when it came to shopping or rent day. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Arthritic knees?....... perhaps he didn't get that affliction from too much praying????
