Because GOD doesn't love everyone. Too many people have this absurd idea in their heads that GOD is all loving.
If he was all loving, then murderers, thieves and homosexuals would be waiting for you in Heaven.
GOD doesn't open his gate to just anyone. Being a True Christian™ is like a Queue Jump ticket at Disney, we are guaranteed a ride with JESUS. -

Welcome, friend. My heart is filled with joy that Jesus has brought you here.
I'm sure that you will be glad to know that we are not required by God to think for ourselves, so you can save yourself the trouble. God has done all the heavy lifting, before we were even a glimmer in our parents' eyes, by leaving His Word for us! Just follow the instructions He left for us in the Holy Bible (KJV 1611), and you cannot go wrong.
