    Hello!

    Greetings, Landover community!

I am a university student looking to connect with other believers and explore these forums. I've been a born-again believer in Christ for many years, and I grew up in a devout Baptist church. My highest aim is to reach the lost souls in the world with the message of the Way, and I am pleased to have the chance to connect with others who seem to believe as I do.

I hope to find this forum useful and uplifting.

May God grant all that you need.

    Re: Hello!

Welcome to God's Favorite Forum, friend!

How did you come to walk with Christ? Do you have a family? What are some of you favorite verses of Scripture?
    II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Rushdoony

I came to know Christ through the righteous teaching of my Baptist church, the Godly wisdom of my parents, and of course the predestined choice of my Savior. I considered the Gospel to be truth as soon as I was old enough to understand it, and I was saved at a young age when the time was right. Later, as I became a young man, I gained a more complete understanding of the Word (in KJV, of course), and through teaching and discipling I was brought to a higher level of spiritual maturity. I now strive to reach others the same way.

As I mentioned above, I have a family. They are honest, God-fearing folks whom I love dearly. Though I do not get to see them as often as I'd like, I know they have me always in their prayers.

My favorite verses are Acts 4:12 and Ephesians 2:8-10, which I can quote from memory, along with scores of other verses. This is the result of the solid teaching I was raised in.

Thank you for your kind welcome!

        Re: Hello!

Oh, almost forgot to mention... I was home schooled from birth to age 18, after which I took my considerable knowledge out into the world. I am glad my parents chose to bless me in this way.

Haha, good question. I made that avatar to represent my mission as a Christian soldier, and to show my support for both the cross and the country.

Wolverines are small and aggressive. And there are also a few obscure meanings or references for "Wolverine" that I appreciate.

I hope that clears things up.
