Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Not all churches are the same, though the majority are.

Perhaps because my very studious child was baptized at 8, and my oldest child just got baptized (he's almost 10).

The Church I attended as a child believed that if you were old enough to talk and read the KJV Bible, you were old enough to be baptized.

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8

Really, everybody knows your story is totally made up and totally ridiculous.

Why don't you tell us who you really are George?
"Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him." I've looked over your churches Statement of Faith. I'm having a hard time believing this church got baptism so wrong, when they seem to get everything else right. Especially when they write

One may become a member only if he has personally accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and has been baptized by immersion.
Now how does a 2-year-old accept Jesus Christ as his Savior?

                      Re: My introduction

                      George, I'm concerned as well.

If you were able to read at the age of two, you must have been a prodigy of some sort. Most children don't understand the concept of written language until age 3 or 4, and can't read fluently until ages 5-7. In fact, the average two year old has only a spoken vocabulary of about 2,000 words, and is not capable of understanding complex concepts such as those expressed in the Bible.

You claim that at age 2, you were able not only to read, but to read and comprehend Early Modern English. This, I believe, would put you on par with the development of Jesus Himself, who shocked his contemporaries by debating Scriptures at the Temple . . . and even He was twelve!

                      Luke 2

42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.

43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.

44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.

45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.

46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
Someone so intellectually gifted as to shortcut language development would likely be able to write just a bit more coherently than what you've displayed here.

Why are you lying to us? If you were really raised Catholic, it's possible to repent. But telling us that a Baptist church would baptize an infant is like telling us that a Catholic priest would fail to notice the firm, rounded bottom of a kneeling altar boy.
